I just became a Master Armorsmith about 2 weeks ago and did chestplates all the way threw. It is time consuming but chestplates are the bst thing to grind out. It only took me 1and a half days to do mine.

synth clothwouldbe done in factory, if you do 3-4 factories it can make it faster than you can possibly grind
mabari chests IS faster than ubese shirts, just load up some factorys first (do armorweave segments too) and then start

Basically it comes down to this.....mabari chest is faster than ubese shirts. However mabari takes sub components and ubese does not. mabari takes more resources total. So if you have access to factories and lots and i mean LOTS of grinding resources mabari is the way to go. If you are on more of a limited budget and dont want to deal with the sub components then the shirts are the way.
I had actually done the totals of resources and math for time on both of these before i did AS....unfortunately I can not find the numbers anywhere :/ and quite honestly am too lazy to redo the math.
so mabari=faster, ubese=slightly slower no sub components
Both are good ways to do it
Good luck and keep stretching your clicking finger hehe

Major problem atm with AS grinding is. No XP when using a crafting macro. So Mabari Chestplate is the only option.

oooh man...
I ground it without a macro - looooonnngg time to get to master! Now I have forefingers like Popeye's arms!
Keep going and you'll get there, just don't expect to make a bucket load of money when you do
By the way, I tended to buy crates of Synth Cloth and (sometimes Armor segs were on bazaar too) from bazaar and make armor segs in factory - when you are waiting for factory, just grind Ubese shirts to fill in the gaps.
Good luck!

Not true. I've been grinding a bit from time to time for FS.
The macro works fine and generates exp just like I was doing it by hand.

Happened in the 12,1 pub.
Tested on AUK, Mabari Chest plates & Ubese Shirt.
