Taking a look at the http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?cookie%5Ftest=1&product%5Fid=B645466A target=_blank>gamespot website there's mention of a flash speeder coming with the bonus cd.

hmmm.... thats a good question. It also mentions new creatures and new worlds. That kinda lowers the trust I have for this. I dont know if you remeber but in Episode 1 there was a speeder with a turret mounted on the back that they used at a distraction for the Trade Fed. Anyone else have and ideas?

It's one of the landspeeders the Naboo Security Forces used to take back Theed from the Trade Federation

yea ok, but, I never heard about any bonus CD or anything being introduced. Wouldnt we know about it?

now the only question is, will we be able to use the turret? Our Speederbikes have the blasters from ROTJ but we cant use thoes....

yep if you watched the preorder site youd know about it...its been announced for quite some time...at any rate im gonna go preorder now *Grin* problem with this flash speeder is if its a bonus for pre ordering what happens if someone destroys it or an npc destroys it...is it really worth getting? do we get a new one everytime it gets destroyed...or will it be hard loot to get like the av21 or jetpack?
if its lootable thats fine but if its not and it has the ch ance of being destroyed that kinda sucks
I guess still no reason to not preordeor unless you're skeptical like some of my friends have been.

yeah I guess Im pretty skeptical about this. I mean... I just dont know. I would think it would be on the SWG website somewhere. Is this offer being offered anywhere else?

It sounds like possibly you can. Also... a rear mounted turret... what good would that do you without a SECOND PERSON IN THE VEHICLE! Then again... the turret could shoot on its own. I would assume you could if they announce it has a rear turret on it... but thats purely speculation.

I'm in the same boat. There's no point to pre-ordering if the speeder can be destroyed and non-usable again.
About it requiring components, I think since it comes with a bonus disk for it I doubt you'll have to do any real work to get it.

Yeah i hate when companies do this - give content out to those who pay more or otherwise become consumer whores.
Well everyone else can get that speeder but i wont lower myself for a ridiculous marketing ploy.
