Nice post , I am wondering where I should go for good XP at 1-1-1-1 Imperial ? Any findings or suggestions?

Ask your trainer, just a little tip for you.

The duty missions are actually useful during this phase. In one complete duty mission, I got 53k xp, and it takes 60k xp to fill a box as opposed to 1 million xp to fill a tier 4 box.

The baddies like to hang around the asteroids and nebulas. Head toward those.

There, changed the post...

A good place to get your xp for your Tier 4 boxes is Kessel. I filled a box in one night. No need to go overt first, just /comm or backslash with the deep spacestation targeted, and you will have the option for Deep Space or Kessel. (Can't go to Deep Space until you have 30k Prestige Points, which you gain after you master, but anyone can go to Kessel. This is true for all factions.)

For Imperials - Go to the Endor system, and look on your map for the "Imperial Claw (Deep Space) Station". TheDurillium Seahyper point is closest.

For Rebels - Go to Dantooine system, and look in your map for the rebel (deep space) station. Don't know the closest hyper point for this one.

For Neutrals - Go to the Dathomir system and look in your map for "Last Nav Station (Deep Space)". The Emperor's Hand hyper point is closest.

Each station will take players to the same Kessel system. You will be able to find other factions in there, but won't be able to kill like-factioned players.

Each kill is worth 8k xp, and each gunboat, if you can manage it, is worth 28k-33k xp.

Have fun!!

P.S. The baddies like to hang around the asteroids and nebulas. Head toward those.

/agree.

I've been leving up here as well. just be careful of other players, this is a PvP zone and all players are open to attack from all factions, even same.

i keep my finger on the L key to target nearest player. if i spot somebody, i send them a tell before they get too close, to find their intentions. most of the time they are leveling too and we'll agree to leave eachother alone.

One time i had a guy not respond. i assumed he was either a moron or intended PvP. I rocked his world. you can always Hyperspace out at any time as well.

What would be the lowest that would be advisable to try these?

I'm not thinking my 1/1/1/1 pilot in a Dunelizard would be a good idea just yet, but it sounds interesting.

while levelling to 2222, group up with as many people possible and head to nyms hovel (LOK). awesome xp.

the more people you group with the faster you will grind. it's easy enough with 2 people if you both have good 1111 or x2xxx equipment.

you're shooting at tier 2 and 3 corsairs out here. the manawars give about 1600xp and go down fast when ganked.

Now here's the fishy thing. I'm neutral privateer, and met up with a guy that was also, and, when we fired on each other, neither did damage, although we both took damage from the aggro'd NPC's.

This leaves me with the impression that like-factioned players can't damage each other? Any other confirmation on this?

Well, be careful if you're Tier 2. Group with someone, or be careful not to aggro more thanone at a time. Tier 3 is mission-based (no xp required), so that leaves Tier 4.

P.S. If you are Tier 2, do your best to stay away from the business end of their blasters. They hurt.
