judging by the number of replies we are seeing from people like thunderheart n tigg the boards are required reading by the devs so I recommend we pile in with requests for release 12. If you agree and or would like to take a shot at possibly influencing JTL pls post either to add your own suggestions or to agree or disagree with mine.


1. faction starbases (rebel corvette /mperial destroyer)


disagree with many on the beta who wanted shopping centres in space but I do feel there is a need for two boardable factional stations to aid pvp.

I propose a reb corvette/station over reb outpost on Rori

An Imp corvette/station over imp outpost on Lok


The difference between these and star ports is that they would auto-overt you and have a cantina on them for overts to meet up and form groups before launching into space. You would be able to repair ships when docking with them butnone of theparaphernalia associated with largestar ports. Obviously IO on lok would have to be upgraded to bring into line with Rori reb outpost.


I feel that this would help players in small guilds or unguilded have a meeting spot for faction group pvp/pve. I believe it would spread players over the galaxy better and not just on the starter worlds. I believe... that I am banging on too much but would like to see this in release 12..


Do you agree that it would make for some kick ass space conflict?Even tie fighting new players could comeand die for the glory of the empire (orget what's coming to those tree hugging rebs)in epic space battles.


2.


Weaponsmiths to be better able to experiment on shipwright re-engineered ship weapons than wrights so broadening the market by encouraging trade in re-engineered schematics and broadening artisan jtl appeal from just architects and wrights.


3.


Armoursmith better able to experiment on wright re-engineered ship armour than wrights as above.


4.


Clarification of future development of smuggler from devs as this should be a more useful character in JTL (maybe privateer detection bonuses like mask scent for scouts for illicit cargo shipment missions).


5.


Ditto with bounty hunters (maybe enhanced jedi tracking from orbit).



I hope this is our chance to influence game but for that to happen our suggestions need a format, if more experienced players want to suggest 1 I will be happy to post to it just as soon as the game is released in Europe- and how come EB Sweden still reckon they are getting the game on the 29th?

OK I am bouncing this as having played a bit more jtl I am more convinced that we need jtl meeting space for group pvp. Imps could have a dockable station with cantina above outpost on Yavin 4 and Rebs over their outpost in Rori. If I have missed the stations and they exist can somebody mail me. In game on Chimaera.

Much later down the line (since I'm sure they've already got Publish 12 half done), It would be nice if we could actually land in and walk around the space stations like the tutorial except... not... tutorially. Put a little mall in there or something. Let a limited number of players set up kiosks for credits (Give themX amount of days before they have to give up their spot to someone else). Maybe just make it kind of likea car show, put in instanced hangars where maybe 5 characters have their ships berthed so you can walk around and drool all over your ship (kind of like E&B except with more than just your own ship) and attach it to a promenade with a cantina, amed center (to heal those wounds you got when you got your aft handed to you) anda standard starport (In case you arrived with a group and got abandoned) with no wait time like Theed spaceport. Another neat idea would be to give us instanced (walk up to a lift door and load to your apt.) apartments in a space station of our choice (Fly to that station, set up an apartment.) that maybe take 1 lot and are the size of a small house.... And maybe arelayed outby someone with common sense... Jeez, the Corellian and Tat houses are so bad.



Not gonna happen, but I can dream I'd so love to walk around a ship or space station

Dont forget about the flight helmets. they would have to be decoratable, anything is better than the swoop helm

as i said in beta i think it would be a cool idea to make the space stations dockable and u could go in and there would be a section that is a cantina a section that is a med center and then maybe a sector related room like in a imp sector a imp room with a bunch of STs and recuriters and for a reb sector a rebel recuriter or something like that


this might be a little to much but i think it would be really cool if i was in my X-wing and i fly up to my friends nova it would be cool to be able to dock to it and walk inside the ship and see my ship under the ship or something there could be a limit to the amount of ships docked to one ship or something but as i said it might be asking to much of the devs

oh new idea and the rebel and imp stations can only be docked my imps or rebels that would sever as great meeting places


also it would be cool to have a fraction channel like a space rebel channel and a rebel ground channel so if a rebel base on rori is under attack they can ask for help and rebels on other plantes can come help makeing for some asome pvp

- More factions you can actually join (Imperial, Rebel, Jabba, Valarian, Borvo, Nym etc).


- Fix on client crashes, server lag and low fps issues
(should've been done before this game went live).


- More live events & story development.


- New quests & missions from NPC's/themeparks for veteran players and frequent updates.


- NPC's should be more interactive (i.e. they join you on a mission, all should be attackable which would result in faction point loss/raiseetc).


- Ship controls need a total overhaul, make them like X-Wing Alliance for better control.


- Space should be more crowded and made "alive". Corellia is supposed to be a big planet but the space above it is empty! Also there is a Galactic Civil War going on, where are the Rebel and Imperial Fleets?


- Bounty Hunter profession needs to be fixed. We need a special carbine which does more damage and melee damage mitigation or a way of countering it.


- Bounty Hunter missions should also take place in space and there needs to be interaction with other BH players and NPC BH (Boba Fett, Bossk, Zuckuss etc).


- Solo-group nerf should be reversed.


- New loots: furniture schem manufacturing limit should be raised to 100, now it just adds to the economical inbalance that was created by just allowing 1 item. The new loot posters (can you please edit these so they show real still from the movies? They look fake now since the likenesses of Luke, Leia & Han are ludicrous)can only be looted by factioned players and neutrals are yet again bummed, please change this.


- More customization options for armor, vehicles & weapons. I.e. decorations (symbols, objectson armor or vehicle), tuning, settings for weapons (example E11 Stormtrooper Blaster with regular and stun setting).



- More vehicles & ships.


- Droids and Animals are now both labelled as pets, droids should be seperate.


- Pet level for non-CH raised to level 15.


- More harvesting options for Rangers and Scouts. I.e. animal skulls, horns, entire skeletons, certain body parts etc. Foraging for items should have real meaning instead of being random.


- Fish should differ per planet and have more meaning in the game for certain foods etc. The 7 species that are in the game now should only be found on Naboo.


- Super Battle Droids on Corvette missions need to be replaced with Battle Droids for CorSecs, Darktrooper for Imperials and Commando's for Rebels. The SBD's are too hard.



- SOE should remove all items from the game that are now longer working. I.e. Heavy Weapons Clothing and Armor Attachments etc.


- Attachments to clothing or armor should be removeable like weapon upgrades are (should be able to select the ones you wish to delete via a pop-up, socket should then be open for a new one).

Definately agree. Interactive starbases would be a definate plus. Seems pointless to have to go groundside continually for something that would realistically be offered in space. It would create a much more "spacy" (is that a word) environment. If you are constantly flying and have to go groundside...it's like exiting the freeway and walking into a 3rd world bizarre. A starbase would have a more authentic atmosphere for the space junkies.

I have to disagree with reversing the "solo-group" nerf. To me this is one of the best changes that actually improved the game. I got so sick of people standing around the big cities shouting "Solo-group forming!" and "Looking for solo-group PST!" All the people guilty of it whined and cried and complained when it happened, claimed foul and acted like they got something taken away from them. If you have to get in a large group to pull a 30k payout mission then why should you be able to go do it yourself and get the full amount? This is a multiplayer game, designed to encourage group play. Yes I know some people want to solo all day long, and that's fine. It's your right to go do that if that's how you want to play but don't think you still deserve the multiplayer bonuses and benefits that come from large groups. The whole idea is co-op team play for better pay and rewards. If you want to kill everything singlehandedly and amass large piles of wealth then go play Diablo or something.
