I know this topic has be covered but i have a pic which i know some of you have seen but i want to put it out there.
If they can have these ships on the ground then enough coding should exist to modify to be able to land on planets and setup a personal ships terminal at your own house. I know not every one should have one but people that can pay for them. Heck if everyone had one then why even go the the NPC cites except for the normal reason. I just thought i would put it out there.

Oh for thoughs people think that this is a fake picture the ships are on Naboo. On radiant its in the City Syn City.

If it isn't a photoshop job, then how did static models of Xwings manage to be in a player city?

These ships were given out as rewards for a quest (a scavenger hunt, actually)several months ago (long before JTL launched).

They were rewards for Nym's Scavenger Hunt, during March last year.

And they only have the art right now for the x-wing and the tie fighter. They wouldn't invalidate the reward they gave to these player cities by letting other cities have the same art.

either way if they are art this to me still mean that we as players can have them out our houses in player cities. Even if it is static i would like to see my ship parked next to my house. Maybe usea shuttleport and change the shuttle texuter for a ship that your useing texture if yoi dont want a static picture. To me i just think there are alot of things in the game that could be modified to make the ship thing on planets possiable.
Heck if any of you ever heard of earth and beyond you know that other games have toyed with the idea of ships above the surface and so on. The other side to it to is if SOE treast swg the same way it treated Earth and Beyond. Then we can see swb go the way of e&b. I personly see alot of elements of e&b in the JTL expansion. The only down side is they didnt do alot of the thing that where needed to make JTL as popular as it could of been, and we wouldnt see the bugs that we see now in the game play between the ground game and JTL.
well sorry went on a rant. But i know E&B wasnt great but if SWG would take few things from that space game SWG would be GREAT.

I think this might be able to work for PAs the roof has enough space for a YT-1300 seeing your ship on there would be cool if its possible.

Or, insted of paying for them or shuttleports, metropilis cities that reach a high number of citizens should have that advantage?
Just a thought really.
You dont have anything to achieve after Metro.. anyway, so something else to reach might be cool.
