good news... this christmas is coming up and im getting final fantasy 11 and KOTOR so im going to be playing those... im leaving swg in a few weeks so if you play on kauri ill be giving away my pets.

Dude, I am happy for you. Really I am. What I don't understand was your need to advertise your leaving in this forum instead of in the Kauri forum?

I didn't find KOTOR to be that great.
Combat is turn based, not real time. I got the occasional message "you cannot perform another action in this round of combat. You must wait for the next round"
You view cannot be moved up or down. It's fixed.
Every time you spot a new enemy, the game auto pauses. Then you have to select a combat move and manually unpause the game.
You can remap your keyboard but not the mouse.

Is this a reasonable date for JTL? I heard that it was suppsed to be October and was surprisedas my interpretation of the state of it made it seem that it wouldn't be out 'til late November/early December.
So what do you Beta people think?

Well, its in beta, and they have a firm release date with ALL of the retailers including preorders that say they will ship 10/26, it would be suicide to not go live then.

um..one problem... swg did post when it would come out than due to problems it was actually postponed 3 months. them posting it is just a hope..o boy i hope. but it could change

doubtfull, theyve got Beta going and everything seems to be in place, just a few minor bugs...its a pretty firm date so no hard worries

From everything I have seen, JTL is in a much better state than SWG was at a comparable spot. The Dev's learned their lesson here and didn't make mulptile announcements as to the release date that were not attainable.

this is a longshot but with lineage 2, the game came out half a week after beta finished. according to my friend
