Pretty sure I tried missiles, and they didn't work.
I can't believe how long stuff stays broken in this game.

You can't use missiles because if you look closely, when you select the shield subcomponent target, the yellow brackets don't appear where they should (or at all).
The game can't damage what it can't see.

Missles dont require a Line of sight.
Remember back just after the CU when all the vettes subcomponents were moved inside the hull, thereby making them invulnerable to blasters?
Missles worked like a charm. So its a feasible thought to apply that to the rebel space station, but ultinatly if it dont work, it dont work, and we can sit here scream, "BUG!!!" and "FOUL PLAY!"
EDIT:
That said, ive been wondering if your able to get a missle lock at all on those shields.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I tried a pass at the ISD in my Nova and the missile lock wouldn't even register till I was right on top of the damned thing.

Ok, newb question time. I'm not familiar with the escapepod yes command, so what will this macro do. If noone tells me, I have to wait 7 more hours till I get home to play and try it myself. I'm sure I'll regret trying it, but Ill try anyway....

I thought the command would be /eject... not that I use that thing often

Ok, logically it sounds like it will eject you from a pob ship, but does it do so for single player ships, ie eject the pilot? Ive always wonded what would happen if i used the escape pod in my yacht. but if you have been ejected, i dont see the point of repeating the macro?
