Thread: Anyone else notice that the space stations now have landing pads?

Im not sure when it happened, perhaps part of the ToOW publish, but many of the space stations (not the planetary ones, but others like rebel) have had their models changed, and many now feature prominent landing pad structures. Still dont do anything of course, but they were not there before!

yeah, i noticed that too. i was in lok space and i was at the Imperial station and i noticed a large pad with 4 spots for crafts .. and then i do a 180 and a Nym Gunboat says "hi" to me ... *&%$#!

You know, I did notice the stations looked different but couldn't remember how they used to look well enough to place the difference. Thanks for pointing that out!

If they start paying attention to stations, maybe they might get around to fixing the Reb station in Deep Space...... (too hopeful)

With the current starship terminal bug, I wouldn't be suprised if they had tampered with the coding in a gradual implementation of station landing. This is really sparking my curiousity.

I must be tired...for a second there I thought you put... "This is really spanking my curiousity".

It's just a change in art guys...nothing more.
Any early speculations are just gonna lead to something like the Captial Ship brouhaha...

Hmmm...I hadn't noticed any major changes recently. Doesn't mean I couldn't have missed it, of course. But I thought the stations always had small landing pads. (The factional ones, mind you, not the planetary orbitals.)

The landing pads on the Orbital Imperial Space Station have always been there. The art on the Rebel Station has indeed changed to include a landing pad at the top of the station.

That would be awesome. Landing on DS rebel space station and operating one of the on-board turrets. Nothing is more Star Warsy than that. Or just landing on Rebel Space Station on Yavin 4 and just chilling.

Everyone wants to land on space stations and now they have landing pads. Seems like a good sign to me!

here's an idea please dont speculate on this it just my 2 cents


stations are static models meaning changing one reb station changes them all maybe this pad only realy meant for one station the ds one


here's my logic


sure you all seen or heard of the fanfest video of buddy boarding isd talking to vader then boarding corelian vette and hijacking it


its common sence to think for rebs youd land at the station or on the vette


maybe this is the first step in us getting our cap ships
