well i dont know about quick way but. i became a creature handler By going to anchorhead (small town and its easy to get to the missions fast.) taking missions that involve killing a nest of creatures. Go to the waypoint and pick off the creatures that are outside the nest. Then shoot the nest one time, and click peace so you stop firing. Wait about 20 seconds and more should spawn. If they don’t try it again. After you destroy the nest go and harvest bone and hide. You will get your scout xp there. I find that in a group of people it is to slow to xp because there is always someone else that needs to harvest. You should also train marksman and pick a weapon you want to use. ( I picked pistol and am expert with it. you will need it. good luck and hope to see you with your baby creature soon.

Vibro knuckles would definitely help in the leveling of unarmed. They will double you unarmed damage. Just don't use special moves unless the HAM on your vibro knuckles is good.

One quick suggestion: what I do when the opponent closes is start the fight barehanded, do blind/stun, then equip my vibroknuckles and go to town with normal attacks. That way I pay huge HAM costs to do my debuff attacks. Sure, those two attacks do less damage than if I used the knuckles, but I'm really doing them for the debuff, not the damage.

As far as using Unarmed Hit 1, I only use that for an extra bang with the knuckles when the target is, for some reason, still barely hurt. Otherwise I've found it's better to just use the normal attack with the knuckles to finish the thing off.

Ok, I am relatively new to SWG. I am planning on weaponsmithing at least for a while. I am still not to novice weaponsmith, however, I should be by today or tomorrow at the latest.

When I get novice weaponsmith, I will have access to create the D18 pistol. Who wants that? Do I just sit around and crank 100's of them out and destroy them until I can go up a level to make some other decent weapons? Also, I am having a hard time covering my costs at this point - I have extractors running 24-7, and it is everything I can do to keep them maintained. Is this typical?

Any tips for starting out would be GREATLY appreciated.

Well, you have a couple choices as for what you can do for experience.

Grind Projectile Pistol Barrels, as far as I know, they're the most efficient thing to grind by hand at that level.

Or, make D18s by hand and give them away. You could try selling them on the Bazaar, but honestly, at that level they're worse than CDEFs. So, give them away, and ride off of the UXP.

Money Making: Sell Weapon Upgrade Kits to Smugglers. They only use 20 Metal, 10 Chem, and they will sell like hotcakes. But yes, your money woes are somewhat typical. It does get better.

I had a similar problem with a Clothing/Armor Crafting Device. It just stopped working so I destroyed it and made a replacement. Ask a fellow artisan to make you a replacement and if that fails ask customer service.
