Thread: Yet another Where are the real Rebel Flight Helmets? thread

When are the real Rebel Flight Helmets going to be included in the game? I'm not talking about that fugly "Ace" helmet - I mean the REAL Rebel Flight Helmet (you know, that one that Luke - and every other Rebel pilot - in the MOVIES were wearing!).
It should be given to Rebel pilots at Tier 1, just like us Imperial pilots get our helmets at Tier 1. (And yes I am an Imperial pilot fighting to get you guys your helmet!)
Don't make the Helmet a reward for some quest, don't make it a loot item, don't make it anything! Just give it as standard issue to all Rebel pilots at Tier 1. Make this game look and feel more like Star Wars by including common items like this as the norm and not the exception. (You Devs took the time to make (and FIX!) a Black Sun helmet - c'mon now, how about prioritizing things properly? Real Star Wars stuff first! THEN add in other items....)

Biggs had a helmet with a grid painted on it. Some of the pilots are shown with a white helmet that had a blue reb symbol during the launch scene. Also Dack, Luke's gunner at hoth, had that type of helmet. But he is the only 'character' to have a white helmet with a blue rebel symbol.
I would be quite satisfied with that style of helmet. It would be nice to be able to change the color option but really I just want the darn helmet.
Ultimately it would be nice if there were several color and texture options for reb helmets but honestly this is secondary to getting the helmet in the game.

gah, im a neutral pilot and I think this would rule for you guys...you need more stuff bad. PLease devs, I know you added all these people to your team...We just need more content, honest!

I like the rebel ace helmet, it looks real cool.

I could'nt agree more! The factions need more stuff like in the movies. As well as a Hoth PvP planet where you can fly the landspeeders

as a privateer is it just me or is our ace helm like a imperial ace helm with out the graphic and enlarged a bit too.
oh ya by the way i am a little confused i thought the ace helm and the one luke wore in the movie where the same just his was beat up and the subed a see through yellow visor for a gold one hmmm i maybe wrong got to go watch the movie and see lol

Werent those green with yellow goggles? I wouldnt mind anything to wear as a novice, crap we already get the jumpsuit that makes us look like charles manson, so why not give rebs the rest of it. I love the ace helmet, but would like to wear the standard issue that we dont get issued helmet.

This is one of those classic "W.T.F. were the devs thinking" kind of questions.Once again the Devsutter lack of communication with their own players adds fuel to the fire of discontent.

I believe the devs are having troubleto grasp the concept oftransparent textures lately, that's why they don't include the helmet.
