From what I have read on one of the old "State of the Game" letters, the Devs mentioned adding a Character Transfer system.But we don't know when it will be added or how it will work.

hmm thats true, did that include items which the players had from tc ?.

awesome Question one that i ahve wanted answered. sure hope thye allow item and stuff transferabele with char

Ironic that this was posted today since I was just thinking about it. I hope they put it into place before JtL, I'd love to transfer my crafter to the same server as all the RL people I know. I just like crafting so much more, and I could make ships for everyone in my guild.

I think, because of economic dynamics, they will not do this.
Resources are differnt from server to server, items created by players on a differnt server have differnt SNs than on another server, and I'd imagine everything would make a pretty heavy strain transfering all some one's **edit**.
I've been on gorath for a long time, but it's a east coast server and I live on the west side. I've been really worried about the lag, too.

If they have any business smarts they will do the same systems as Everquest. Skills but no items/credits transfer for a small fee, Skills + items/credits for a large fee.

I thought I saw a Dev post where they said Characters/skills and creds...but no items...I could be wrong

Hi was just wondering if in JTL they will put a character transfer in so that if ppl from europe on the east and west coast servers find it hard to play JTL with 100pings that they can move to the lower ping eu servers, ne1 know or can u already transfer chars?? thx

the technology is there, they had charachter copy for Test center 2(bria) I heard.

Why are some Galaxies not on the "transfer from" menu?
i.e. why can't I move my character off of Sunrunner? Is it because of server population issues?
