Hi im an imperial pilot 2222 in storm squadron,im doing missions for Capt Denner on Yavin IV, i've done i think about 3-4 missions for him, completed inspecting a rebel recon ship, then went on to dock with a damaged freighter, those were the last ones anyway I completed.

So i completed that and then another mission appears like before, not sure what it was, but while im onroute i get ganked by loadsa rebel ships that spawn so I have to eject. So i go back to Denner thinking I can train up to say 3222 because my xp boxes are full etc. So i go to see Denner and i get the msg that I've failed etc and don't do it again but no option to train, then I get assignment again but try to see if he'll train me then but he says your on assignment soldier get back to work. In my quest log it says after i get mission to escort engineers etc even though i've done it a million times!

So how can I train?

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, 'How can we do this and not make another EQ?' We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen." - Julio Torres

Have you completed the Escort Engineers mission yet?

If not, you need a mission complete before you can reguardless of xp.

In fact, now that I think of it all the 3333 missions are not XP related. You do missions and when you're done you get the box. All the way from 3222 to 3333. The tier 4 boxes are XP capped witha mission.

I have return after being away for months. I do remember speaking to the pilot trainer in Cor but I never started the space part of the game because I left soon after for a break. Now I have returned and a friend has taken me up in space a couple of times. it has earned me enough points to train but the pilot trainer I started with only wants to give me quest or tell me how to use my ship. What am I doing wrong here?

You have to do the quest in order to train, I'm afraid.

yeah i'm having the same problem. the first mission he sends you on is the 'escort engineers' - after you finish that, i got the mission successful message, but immediately got another mission to rescue another freighter. did that, barely, got ANOTHER mission to take out an a-wing and d/l info. finished that, got ANOTHER mission to rescue a freighter! by this point i had been at it an hour (most of the mobs were awings - not fun when you're flying a tie/in) so i hyperspaced for home. landed on yavin, and he reads me the riot act because i failed.

please please please anyone whose done the storm squadron path up to ace please let me know what i need to do!

Everything decays. My car decayed to 0 condition in august of this year, and I had to buy a new one. Your gun will decay with use, just like the clothes you wear. Are you still wearing clothes from 1995? I didn't think so. Decay is resonable. The rates, on the other hand, need to be balanced. Would you buy a car that decayed to zero condition in 6 months? Clothes that lasted 3 weeks? Doubtful.

Same problem here.

I've completed the first escort, the disable and escort, the disable and dock andthe repair and escort (although Igot attacked by Tier 4 pirates both times I got to it). The first time I completed that leg of the mission, I got swamped by A-wings. The second time I completed that leg of the mission, I got blasted by a Tier 5 (and his two Teir 4 buddies) pirate. I just hope that there's not another leg of the mission after the fifth. As it is, I think I'm going to have to get help.

I know i'm there too you jsut need to do the mission. But these missions are hard, after one is done another one pops up for about 5 times then you can train.

I'm doing missions out of the emp retreat and am having the same problem, the inquisitor only trains me when he feels like it. Usually after i finish some sort of suicide mission.

you get the tier 3 boxes free regardless of xp. you have to complete the missions though, each time you visit the trainer, he'll give you a group of missions, you go off do them, come back and he'll train you in your first box then he'll give you anothergroup of missions. the best thing to do is to go with a group of other people. the tier 3 missions are hard and i could only get through them with the help of guildmates.

hypering home before all the mission parts have been done had been a mistake, you have to do all of them until you get no more new mission parts .. after you have done all parts you will get a skill box trained by the pilot trainer NPC

WOW. Yeah, this series of missions is ROUGH. The first mission, the escort mission, I sat on for a good 45 minutes alone, got most of the way up fighting those guys... No sooner do I get it to Endor than it gets recaptured, with an escort of a bunch of A and B wings... which I had a bit of trouble with, but managed... Recapture that guy, and we're doing the first stinking mission all over again, but with A-wings instead... Fortunately it doesn't last as long, but the Tier 3 A-wings are a PAIN at 2/2/2/2. The bit where you go inspect the A-wing is cake... then I went to go dock with the transport.. docked... and suddenly I'm being swarmed by Tier 4 X-wings that I'm guessing somebody left there from some other mission. Well, needless to say... I can't fight this. Barely managed to hyperspace out with my hull intact. And now I have to do that whole thing all over again. Somebody just shoot me, please. Oh, and this is the character I don't play very much, so I'm somewhat short on friends to help out. Whee. Frankly, on a mission this long, I don't see how anybody could survive without running into a few Tier 4s... which is NOT what this mission is about. The sheer length of it is hazardous, and frankly, they ought to allow us to pick up where we left off. For those of you lucky enough to have NOT run into any Tier 4s... congratulations.

I need help, I have tried several searches and even looked through the FAQ but I can't seem to figure out how in the heck I can train Jedi skills. If someone could clarify this for me it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!
