I like the visor on the SWG one more, but thats just me. The original helmet should be for initiate or teir 2 or something.

The helmet in game is pretty cool if you ask me... Yeah its not like lukes, but then again who wants to be luke or Biggs?

It's not that they want to be like Luke or Biggs, it's that that's what most if not all the Rebel pilots wear. Besides, not like they can't have both...

frankly i like the SWG verison of the helmat alot more. with the breath mask it looks alot like a fighter pilots helmat.

I don't know why I keep hearing complaints about the Rebel Ace helmet...I personally think it looks kickarse, like other people have said.

Heh...the thing is, people have been asking for the "real" Rebel flight helmet since JtL beta. Seriously. I was there. 
The devs had talked about it being a high-end loot drop instead of giving it to pilots, too. We've never seen it in-game, though.

Personnaly i think its an art issue. If youll notice, the vast majority of helmets in this game are full helmets covering the face, and the ones that arent, only a few species can wear them.
Case in point, the Imperial Hat. How long did it take sony to get that right? And how many character models can acutally wear one? If a the "real" rebel helmet were introduced today, ill bet that it will only fit a male Human or zabrek.
