WHEN ARE WE GONNA SEE MASSIVE IMPERIAL FLEETS VS MASSIVE REBEL FLEETS! i wanna see some broad siding going on and storm troopers flying out of the breched hull

A few nights ago in Deep Space I was hanging around the ISD waiting for hapless rebels to come and try to blow it up. Anyway, a rebel Vette jumps in within gun range of the ISD and opens fire, followed by the ISD doing the same, it only lasted a minute or so, but it was spectacular, even if it did drop my framerate from 30 to 10!

One of the most interesting things I've ever seen in Deep Space was when two Vettes of opposing factions got within aggro range of each other. I just parked my A-Wing and got the popcorn!

Are you sure? I don't believe Imperials have Corellian Corvettes in Deep Space.

The Rebellion barely even has a fleet lol. In ROTJ they only went toe to toe w/ the SDs because it was better than going toe to toe w/ the Death Star otherwise they would have flown away w/o a fight.
I agree it would be cool tho ! :-) but if the Rebellion has ships to go toe to toe with SDs, we would not have to worry about hiding in back alleys and moving bases all the time.
hehe I am amazed that a single Y-Wing could smash into the bridge of a SSD and cause it to careen out of control. Major design flaw in the SSD if ya ask me hehe but I guess the Empire doesnt have very good designers, I mean look at how many Death Stars they went through)
hmm has anyone tried crashing their ship into the bridge area of the Star Destroyer to see if it flys out of control? LOL

That's always bugged me too though. You'd think they'd have a secondary or battle bridge located somewhere else in that massive ship. Imperial designers seem to have a nasty habit of leaving gaping flaws in their most important ships.

You can't exactly expect quality worksmanship when half of your designers are either overworked, underpaid, or forced labor.

And don't forget that even when their flaws are discovered, the Empire is too lazy to correct them.

on the privateir master mission it states that we have to destroy a rebel vette because it was taken over by the imperials and the imperials reoutfitted the vette to their needs. So i can see a vette going after the isd. So technicaly the rebels have and imperials have vettes at this moment.

The Rebellion has a fleet. Their fleet though is composed more of med, and ship repair ships. They have few ships able to rival the Star Destroyer but thats where their superior tactics and small 1 manned fighters come in.I mean come on x-wings can take hits while freaking ties blow up when something bumps emin the moves lol.
