kessel is probably the most aw-inspiring and beautiful systems in JTL

but my deep space station says i can't go in a civilian craft

the Kessel system is the perfect place for yacht partays and sight-seeing

i could stare those sparkly black holes for a while, and Kessel's surface is kewl too withits lights and streaks

there absolutely no obsatcles either, making for a smooth trip

and maybe an occasional Vette battle would be nice for my friends to watch

I'd love to see this happen as well, but i dont think it ever will. For the simple reason that the Soro's cannot be targeted or damaged so players would make walls of them as a infinite invulnerable shield to hide behind while sniping away at the corvette and gunships. Thankfully you can use your Normal MP ships to sight see in Kessel (YT, Nova, & Decimator), although they lack those killer side windows and upper deck of the soro i know.

Simple fix for that is to let, in Kessel and Deep Space, laser bolts go through the SoroSuub. In these sectors, they could be like how players and other objects are on the ground... you can fire through them, fly through them, target through them, ect.

Agreed, but it would also be very cool if the autopilot would stay on when you got out of your seat..for the yacht and the other mp ships

that makes no sense, kessel is a major battleground in the GCW, it would be very unrealistic to have civilian craft all over it

It makes no sense to have civilian craft flying around during a civil war?

He didn't say that. Kessel is a widely known battleground. It would be unrealistic to see civilian ships there.

i think maybe the system should limit the number of yachts in te kessel system, that way people can still enjoy themselves yet keep the civilian craft presence at an unnoticed amount

it makes sense to have civillian craft flying around most systems, but not in a major battleground

I honestly don't see what's to keep everyone from flying anywhere they damn well please. You have infinite space. You have a ship with a hyperdrive. There are no shield generators that seal off entire sectors for special access :-p. Would be nice if the gameplay reflected that.

Kessel and deep space are warzones, an invinsiblecivilian ship flying round in the crossfire would be out of place and look stupid. (if it could then it would have to become destroyable).

Statement: They configured the space sectors to reflect the same amount of physical space there are on groundside. if you haven't noticed, the groundside map is 16x16. In space it is a cube of 16 kilometers by 16 kilos, by 16 kilos. That ain't a whole lot of space, but it's enough to hold a massive space battle if needed.
