I saw this familiar pilot and ship in space near the Cnet station about 10 minutes ago. It wouldn't let me send him any /tells, so I have no idea what he was up to. He flew around randomly for a bit and then returned to the station and landed. I was in my Firespray and tried to order him to shut down his engines and prepare to be boarded, but it was to no avail. Very cool. There have been reports of other famous sightings (Darth Vader, etc.) planetside as well.
Kudos to the Devs for finally bringing them to "life" in the game.

dizam that is so freaking sweet... I hope I have a sighting like this in space. I've seen vader and Leia on the ground.

Yeah, Leia did this weird driveby on our server where she ran off a shuttle, shouted something about the rebellion, then ran back on......there are screenshot links somewhere on the Starsider boards.....kinda funny...

That is just cool, 5 stars. I still have never seen any of them in the game and Im an Rper, it would so make my day. I would wanna shoot down the Falcon. If I had my TIE there *shakes fist* HE would have been captured!

That really doesn't look like the Falcon. Where's the dish on top?

I would love it if there were missions where we got to fight along side the famous pilots such ash Han and Chewie in the Falcon, Luke and Wedge in their X-wings, Dash Rendar in his YT-2400 (they need to add that ship) or Boba Fett in his Slave 1 Firespray.
Heeey, that would be an interesting idea. What would be really cool too is if there were "scheduled attacks" where you and a group could go and fight along side the Star Wars characters, along with an enemy group. For example, if you were and Alliance pilot you'd be in a fleet along with Luke and Han, and other players. You'd be fighting a group of other players who were Imperial pilots and Darth Vader.

I dont think that would happen because there would be a 'chance' that you or someone else would actually succede in killing a key NPC. I dont think the devs would do it.
