Take a look at this
If im not mistaken, it kinda looks like atmospheric flight? Maybe thats the new asteroid mining ship? It has two probes in the front that could be used to mine maybe. They could also be guns of coarse. Now compare it to this screenshot.
Anyone care to interpret it more?

It didn't occur to me when I first saw the picture, but now that you mention it, you are right. Maybe it is the secret thing they are adding but don't want people to know about it right away. Now that would be sweet.

Maybe its just a cinematic, but in any case its interesting camera perspective, none that we have seen before.

Thing is: There aren't many, or any in-game cinematics in SWG, and this looks like game footage. I'm excited now

There is a good chance that it might be one of the trando slave camps, and if so i'm guessing they will more than likely just be the same sort of thing as with the imp shuttle. Either that or it's a static object. I'm fairly sure it wont be atmospheric flight however because they have said several times that that would kill the servers.

Looks a bit like a gunship.. maybe it's like the imperial and rebel shuttles that shuttle in and drop troops.
There seems to be 3 species in the second screenie - 2 wookies, 2 bounty hunters, and a trandoshan. Maybe the trandoshans appear with some BH friends to sort out unruly wookies?
what's the ship in this screenshot? I don't think it's a Jedi starfighter, and I don't think I've seen one in game before.

The Bounty Hunters are all trandos, you can tell by looking at their lower legs, all got claws. Oh and the ship in that screenie you posted is the new Jedi starfighter, it looks a bit like a TIE from the front.
As for the big brown ship on Kashyyyk, it is possible this is just a new model for the shuttles that arrive at starports. Perhaps they are adding a new model to make things a little more varied.

take note: in the second screeny (from the ground) the windows are opaque (can NOT see through them) just like you CANT see through them in space.
first pic... imo..IMO.. that screeny HAS to be taken from one of two perspectives:
1) either from the pilots view while landing
2) from a second person view in a tower or on a hillside of sorts (something elevated)
since the shadows on the ground betray the fact that anything on the ground is allowing a birds eye view, I would have guess this is the pilots perspective while landing (note: no charactors on ground in first screeny)
finally.. i wouldlike to point out the AMAZING sense of balance that big ass ship has standing on one foot.

It's just using repulsorlifts, a bit like a speederbike.
I reckon the POV of the first screenie is just a dev using a custom game camera. If that's not the case then maybe he's flying the ship!
The reason I thought that ship in the screen I linked to wasn't a Jedi Starfighter was because it has things attached to the end of its wings, like mini TIE wings. All the closup shots I've seen of it don't have these wings. I guess it gets variants, like the freelancer ships

I think they just mean that it can take 20 people inside - like a yacht, YT-1300, Nova or Decimator.

I believe the first pic is taken from a tower, you can see the shadow of it going across the ship and all the way to the ground. The ship is the npc slave ship, it will come and go just like the shuttles into the starports. You can see the slavers base below and the next pic has all the BH around on the ground.
It is not the jedi ship, they already said the jedi ship will be the one that Obi'wan flew in episode II and there are screenies of it out.
