Thread: is there a rebel base starport?

I was told there is a starport available to rebels and privateers at the abandoned rebel base on dant? is this true? and if so, how do you access it? any "specific" help would be greatly appreciated.

yes, go to dantooine space station, and do work for the guy-he will give you access.

Man i wish that were the case. I went to dant station, got mission for adventure from him, did the 3 part mission came back to dant space killed ship that greets you there, went to station to drop of loot as per orders, and that was it, no access to reb base, no reward, no credits nothing. am i missing something? For the record, im a master privateer in space and a covert rebel on ground.

I guess you only get access to it, if you're actually a Rebel Pilot.
Same as only Privateers get access to Jabba's Palace on Tatooine.
Probably only the Squadron of Rebels that actually needs to go to the Outpost in order to find thier trainers, I'm not sure if RSF and Corsec can land on Jabba's Palace.

that would make sense. it would suck for me being as my city is adjacent to rebel base, but it would make sense.

Yeah, my guild is based about 450 meters from there, very useful, as you can basically leech everything off of the outpost, it has a starport, a cloning center, a med center (I think), and a cantina. The only real thing it lacks is a vehicle garage.

Ok I was able to get permission to land at the base. You have to do a couple duty missions then you will get an option from the starport that's something like "Request special landing permission". If you chose this the Whipid at the starport will send you out of a two part mission. One is an escort then there is a defense mission. After you finish these you get 5k and permission to land at the base.

Darth did you get permission with a rebel pilot or a privateer pilot?

I didn't realize that there was one for Rori, but there is definitely one for Dant. While I can't say for certain, I suspect that your status as a privateeris not this issue. There's more than one mission that you can take from the Dant station operator, (I believe there where 3) and only one of them is the one that gives the access. I wish I could remember which one it was but unfortunately I can't.Hopefully its only a matter of your choosing the correct one. I wish you good luck.

I was a rebel pilot. I got the permission from the Whiphid who runs the spacedock. I didn't speak to the rebels at the base at all to get this permission. Only to the Whiphid. You have to go rescue some freighters for him then defend another group.

Hmmm, i still strongly suspect you have to be a rebel pilot to get this mission option at all. From what the other poster said, its 'possible' that i would have to do a few normal duty missions before the option would become available. So ill try that when i get home tonight.
