This may be a silly question, and I have ask some silly ones in the past, but as a privateer flying out of Coronet (CorSec) can I fly a Black Sun ship?? I now have, and apparently qualify for level 2 and 3 Hutt ships, but I would like to fly a Medium Black Sun Fighter, is this doable?

Squadron has no affect on the ships you're able to fly, only Faction. CorSec, RSF and theSmuggler's Alliance are all 'squadrons' of the Privateer profession.
So, yes, the Black Sun ships are open to you.

yep, just have to find someone selling 'em. You can double check this by looking at your Freelance Pilot skills page and checking your certifications. You should see the first Black Sun ship in the same slot as the Kimogila.

Hey, I'm a 3-3-3-3 Privateer and was wondering what the best ship for me to use was.
I've used a Dunelizard ever since I got the box, but I used a Kimogila for a little while and kind of liked it, but my weapons energy drained to fast with those 3 lasers and it wasn't quite quick enough for me.
Now, I looked at the stats of the Ixiyen and noticed it had the same mass as the dunelizard but a little less Chassis HP... I was wondering how it's performance was, compared to the Dunelizard.
And overall just for the record, what ship would you reccomend a Master Privateer Pilot uses for maximum effenciency in mass and speed.

You're best bet would be an Ixiyen Medium Black Sun. Which have thesame mass as Kimogilas, but move more quickly.
You may want to upgradew to the Heavy Black SUn so you can get as much mass as possible.

I actually Loved My DuneLizard, And used it all the way to the End of Tier 3, But I got a ixiyen Which Moves Just Like a DuneLizard but with a Extra 10k Mass. as far as The Kimogila I used it. Never equipped a third Cannon. Ended Up getting Rid of It after a few Uses. But after the mass Fix theIxiyen will Be a even more appealing Ship if They Make it a 100k mass ship.

I have used the Kimogila for a while now...its agood ship. If you are having trouble with the 3 weapon thing, just geta better capacitor. I have one that recharges at about 47.5 and even when the thing is completely drained, it still fires at a decent rate. just give it time though, once the good resources spawn, there will be much better capacitors available.

Ix is 80K, Kimo is 90K, just so you all know.
That is until the next patch. I'd wait until the patch before buying anything privateer. Ixiyens are being upgraded to 90K mass, kimos to 110, and Kihraxz to 40K. You may not want to wait though, so it's up to you.

heh, yeah I think you got the shaft on that deal. But like I said, the next major patch is going to make all TIE Opressors, Kimos, Ixiyens, and Kihraxzs obsolete anyway.

I love my Rihkxyrk. It's worth waiting for. I've got an uber engine that I looted that has like over 90 top speed. So my Rihkxyrk gets about 820 as its top speed. I've got two heavy blasters on it with a pretty darn good capacitor (looted also) that recharges them fairly quick.
