The very fact that I'm am sitting here with the JTL Beta Disk (from EBgames) suggests that I'm either 18 and own a credit card, OR I had a parent order it for me. Unfortunately I'm 17 1/2 and I can't legally sign the NDA, so, no beta for me. I understand that.
BUT, since my parent ordered the disk for me, why then can they not also sign the NDA? Holding them responsible for me, their child, if anything were to go wrong. Parents are already responsible for anything else their child does (i.e. shoplifting, etc.)
I know that some kids might lie, and sign for their parents, but that is no different than those who lied on the original information. Instead, me being the honest type, I put my real age. Parents are still responsible for their offspring, why can't they sign the NDA?

Unfortunatly, SOE just takes the safe route by not letting any minors into the beta. It really is a big hassle to approve everyone that wants in, so they just say you have to be an adult. JTL comes out in 15 days, so be patient!

yeah, we have all know about "space expansion" since before SWG was released. another week and a half is not a teribly long wait.

Oh I am patient, thats not the point...I had to go through the same deal with the original release of an Empire Divided.
The sad thing is that I could easily be in, had I put my birthday at 1986, and not 1987. Not that I would do that, its not in my nature. But, I have four friends in beta right now, ALL under 18! (one of them is 14).

I can wait for jtl for another 15 days, but my real concern is how the devs will allow the people, who bought the preorder, get their speeders when the website won't even let you input your beta cd key in (which is the only way to verify that you get the speeders so far).

Ive put my cd key in, you just have to know how. go to account/edit account/register expansion or something like that from your launch window.

There is a problem with that release date over here in the UK, I asked in one of the biggest retailers over here, GAME, and they said it was pushed back until november.
BAH, if its comming out earlier over in the US than over here, then I'm importing it.

log in to your launchpad, click the account button, click edit account, then click Register Expansion and type the key in.
and in theory it should all work.
