Thread: No space zone for Mustafar? Very disappointing.

How hard would it really be to just copy any of the current space zones? Just replace the planet with a "lava world" (5 min work in Photoshop doesn't seem like too much to ask) and there you have it. We don't need Mustafar specific space content (missions) right away. JTL's release obviously standardized the idea of space zones around each planet, why break that standard now?

It's bad enough that SWG is breaking canon with the inclusion of things like HK-47 (as fun as KOTOR is, itis not canon) and the idea of shoving ep III content down our throats when most people want content that actually makes sense in the current timeline. (like maybe HOTH?) At least keep up with the current standards that each planet would have space around them.

I'm desperately trying to understand the path this game is taking, I've been here since just after launch and really believe this game has more potential than any other MMO on the market, but the decisions that are being made lately are not only upsetting, but sometimes feeldownright ignorant, and make the playerbase feel completely detached from the design process.

I understand that the dev team isnt solely responsible for what is occuring, but I guess I'm asking for someone in the team to make the effort to at least keep up the "status quo" of the current game.

Hey, it saves you $30 to spend on something else. Always look on the bright side.

But, being who they are, what are the odds that in order to fly a capitol ship, you must have the ToOO expansion? Sure, we won't get any new space to fly it around in, but that then "appeals" to the pilot community, in their eyes.

Pilots...almost as forgotten as CH's.

Agreed. If not at release, then soon after add a space sector. Having one out of all the other planets not have a space sector at all is just... disapointing.

There was a great disturbance in the Force (April 2005). Then finally the Force itself left the galaxy (November 2005). As the players lost their mind (bar) in April 2006 the fate of the galaxy is uncertain...

well perhaps they'll add it later... they are under the gun to do this publish when the DVD releases right?

besides wouldn't it be better than to slap a cookie cutter from another planet, to take the time to make it pretty cool and new?

hey be glad we get new content...this was pretty fast from the RoTW expansion... just think the time between that and JTL?

Indeed very disapointing... I can only hope they will be adding it later... I realy hope they bother to explain why they did it this way in game (Blockade, Ion storms, anything), if it a just because we say so type thing I am going to be pissed.

I hope there isn't a stupid LucasArts rule that says you as a player are not allowed to see Mustafar from space.

Well they said there would be something thrown in for pilots... we will have to wait and see.

Play the game or don't it is what it is and will never be what it was for better or worse. I intend to play the game as long as it is fun, that does not make me a fan boy of brown noser. I know the game has it's flaws, but it serves no purpose to dwell in the past.

Are you kidding me?! Have your even flown in Kashyyyk Space?! It is so laggy with the "feature," that it is almost unbearable to fly in. It is alright when there are maybe four through five players, but usually there are more than that, and it gets really laggy, especially in the nebula zones(and my nebula is turned all of the way down).

If they do add it, I am hoping that it will not have a lot of "features" graphics wise. Deep Space is awesome because there is pretty much nothing but space ships. Sure, the Star Destroyer lags if you keep flying around it, and letting it shoot you, but you can normally enjoy yourself up there.

Well the idea was that kashyyk=space entry only mustafar=shuttle only... But what kind of shuttle service goes out to mustafar??? honestly the idea that the galactic travel commision would even deal with such a planet is absurd!!

Why spend the time and codeing makeing a new space zone when they can spit out a quick expansion without spending much to make it to rake in a quick $? I doubt it was expected to be nothing more then quick content that will be jedi'd within a week or two then forgotten. Whoever made the comment about capitol ships though, I have that same fear. That we will be forced to get the expansion to get something we should be getting already anyway.

It's the ghost of Obi that's giving out the missions. That blue glowy version we all love from the original movies. I think (don't have the link offhand) there's a screenshot showing the blue version of him.

Glzmo was a great visionary. Perhaps SOE should have listened to him instead of rebuilding everything all the time.
