Hello,
I just made Tier 4 the other day and was able to train the first box due to having already having the 1 million xp needed. I haven't had the time to do the first tier mission, but I was wondering if any BE pilots out there could tell me what to expect.
Is it as bad as Tier 3? Are any of the missions soloable or do they all need friends? Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,

Each mission? Or is there only one mission and a ton of grinding?
Thanks for the info ![]()

I just finished BE Tier 3 (I Hate the Karthak Queen) and I was able to quickly finish the first mission of Tier 4.
One warning that the second wave of the "Transmission Intercept" Mission spawns a gunship, you don't have to destroy it, just avoid it and destroy the rest until the end of the mission. Then you'll need to grind the next million XP to get x4xx. I did it with one duty mission, but it took a few hours.

Tier 3 is designed to encourage/demand grouping.
Tier 4 is designed to be the product of all your learning. Not saying this applies to you, but if you never did duties and had your missions essentially done for you from T3 on, T4 is gonna seem like hell.

Grinding back in November, the Queen gave me a hell of a time, too.
Now I can give her the Marie Antoinette treatment in roughly one pass, without even any armor damage, and sans /bstrike3. I still take pleasure in it.

Lol if you can't do tier 4 in a normal ship, the JSF isn't going to help you any.

What do you mean? I've done duties (not alot), and I"veflown my own ships on my Tier 3 missions, although I did have help. Is that what you mean? I didn't solo ANY of Tier 3.

No, I'm talking about people who asked other pilots to ride shotgun with them or in their turrets because they didn't feel like flying, or sat around/at a safe distance whilst someone else did their T3/T4 missions for them.

Ahh, ok. No, I didn't do any of that. I did have an ace tell me to hang back and work the escorts while he took the queen for Tier 3 4th mission, but that was only because the queen blew up his bellulab and he wanted revenge ![]()
Other than that, I've flown my own ship (an interceptor), all the way ![]()

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'll pass. I'm going to make ace flying TIEs

Sounds maybe like the bug Inquisition suffers from, where if you fly the patrol too quickly it causes...well...nothing to happen, although I didn't have trouble with BE personally. Try flying it around 500 speed.
