well what do yours look like? On the look out for some to put on my a-wing would like to see the spread of damage and mass to see if its viable.

I have a RE levl 8 with 17 energy per shot 19k mass and 3054 - 4065 which is very sweet

That is nice uberzit... I wish i had something like that! But seriously how long does it take you to get all 8 parts to RE? I only have 1 or 2 of each level and they are so bad i dont even want to RE them.

This reminds me of a question I had: When you RE something, it takes the stats from the other parts, yes? So if you RE a level 6 something, the final component will feature a combination of the stats of the 6 pieces. Does it pick stats randomly? Does it use the best stats? Am I just lazy for not searching the forums for an answer to the question?

19k mass is very low for a level 8 gun. Most lvl8 gun drops are at a minimum 24k mass or so. Getting one at 19kis a real nice find.

I have been lucky with my lvl 8 blasters I have mastered pilot on 2 accounts and I am a master SW so I get lots of help from my guild building ships / equipment for re components due to the great RSF not being "neutral" i am redoing corsec atm manged to make some real sweet sheilds as well 2550 front and back and recharge around 14 - 15 with about 31k mass

Level 8 weapons are rare loot drops. If you want to RE the level 8 reward gun you will need to get 7 other level 8 guns to do it. The fastest way to get them is to buy them. This has pushed prices way up. Level 10 droid interfaces are around 1 million each, as silly as that sounds.

wow i need to switch servers
maybe i will make a new toon there and grind out pilot to sell level 8 guns.
then credit swap back to eclipse
here on eclipse they go for 100k at the most.
just go to kessel or deep space or get a black sun duty mission.
i never have a shortage of level 7,8 or 10 guns.
and i only buy em when they are great on a stat for an RE.
maybe i will make a new toon there and grind out pilot to sell level 8 guns.
