Hey Every one. This is something that happend to me, and i dont think its fair, but i want to see if im being to uptight. so let me know what you all think.
My user dosn't reflect this on my forum stats, but i have been playing for justa little bit after launch. Now im shure any one that clicked on this knows about the veteran reward, and you also know that you must have an account for six months to qualify.
As I said before i have been playing just a bit after launch, but last month I decided to take a break. LOL it only ended up being two weeks becouse I love laying this game so much. but since i canceld the game, i am now just like a 16 day old member.
When i first read about the Reward I was exicited that i would be getting a ship, but then it hit me... I had a break in my bill. but haveing receved the 1 year aneversary presant, i figured that i might still be in luck.
I went to the helpfull chat menu and talked to a CSR. She informed me that i wouldn't be getting the ship becouse technacly i have only been playing for 10 days (it was 10 at the time). Now personaly i dont think this is fair, due to i have been paying the fee since launch.
One of the people in the chat said something funny that i want to qupte before the end of this post... "That will teach you not to EVER mess around with your game fees again buddy!" LOL
Well tell me what you think. And im shure that theres more then just me who is going through the same thing.

dont worry, everyone gets the ship after paying 6 months in a row, by the time JtLS comes out, you'll likely be there

well first off i must say im VERY happy to see a new member not using "u,y,k,kool,and plz"
and second,there might not be anything to do but wait 6 months,alough the devs are considering judging another way (think how much youve payed total) for game card users,so you might or might niot be in luck,probably will get it at launch though because if they dont implement the new system game card users are going to riot

First I want to stress i am NOT new, And i too hate that slang stuff.
Second its not the fact that im not getting the ship that makes me angry, its the fact that i have payed just as much (or more) as all the people that will be getting it. LOL no kidding with the Game Card users.

LOL with some of the games no kidding (SC ghost was suposed to come out summer last year /rollseyes... been waiting for WOE for like 3 years lol supost to come out this summer grrrr!) But the thing is i have been playing for 6 months. lol thats what upsets me

ok 1 thing you pay per month so why do you stop paying??? i mean you will be playing it?? so why don't you just don't play it???? i mean now i have not played it for like a month b/e i was beta testing halo 2 now i didnt stop paying i just payed b/e i no i will play it again some time in the next year so im going to get the ship

There is a grace peroid... meaning being not paying for some days won`t stop you from being counted as a Veteran...

well you didn't mention this but did you make it clear to the csr that you had a year old account and didn't cancel it until after the announcement was made....because the csr could have just went by your current status, saw 10 days and just said no you won't get it. Otherwise, I believe you will get it because you still had a valid account when the announcment was made. I only read it once but I don't think it said that you had to been playing consecutively until JTL goes live, but only 6 consecutive months. otherwise anyone who cancel or let thier payments lapse would be exempt from getting the reward.
I'll have to read it again to make sure though.

It has been said (by GarVa, if I recall correctly)that as long as you have played six consecutive months at any point prior to the release of JtL, you will get the reward. Also, if you cancelled and then reinstated before the time ran out, that does not count as a cancellation for the reward purposes. And largelyfor game card people, there is a grace period of a couple days after the time runs out on a cancelled account that you may reinstate it without penalty.

Ok. this is to all the posts.
Yes I did make it clear that i had a old account. he said. it had to be 6 months prior to JTLS with no breaks.
He told me about the grace period and said he doubted i would fall in becouse it is only 1 week. (he also said he wasnt 100% positive on the 1 week. but its around that)
And i canceld my accound becouse i was planning to have a longer break, but was drawn back in lol.

hmmm I wonder if I played 6 consecutive months when I was playing off my credit card... hmm using game cards now and sometimes I have to take a friggin month off.... SoroSuub is gonna be cool tho
