With the way things have gone for us this week, concerning the release of JTL, what will you be doing?
Personally I wont log into SWG at all, there's no point. I was all pumped about JTL (as I tested beta) and I was supposed to be my guild shipwright.....well by the time I get in my Guild mates will all ready be tooled up.

I am a guildleader and I promised my guildmates to get the Master Shipwreight to help them out getting the custom parts and building a player ship for them and helping them out!!
As there are a lot of newbies in my guild...they got screwed too as I have to wait another 2 weeks for my JTL copy that I PREORDERED almost 2 months ago!! gahh

I think I will do missions the same way as before to earn the money for you shipwrights...
So I hope I get the game this week, because my shop's homepage says it will get the game on the 27th...

you can still get to Master Shipwright or Master Pilot if you want to, you will still be able to go into space with your friends.....just that it won't be immediately.
The best thing to do is to go to the shop one day this weekand see if they have any in stock, if they do buy it, if not, then try again when they do have some.
I don't see people moaning about the difference in releases between SWG in the US and here, or any other game these days for that matter
Going back a few years, Japan used to get ALL the games first, then the US, then Europe as it was based on both who was making the games and the size of the market. That may have changed now, but at least it's not months and months before it gets released over here.
Personally I've pre-ordered from simplygames.com so am at the mercy of the Post Office here in the UK along with Activision for releasing it in Europe. I guess what I will do (to answer your question) is to log on and continue to gather resources, set up the guildhall with my in-game friendswho are also going to be SW and get ready for when it does come. Then when it does, I'll probably learn Novice shipwright and get going on with selling what I can as I never grind professions, it takes the fun out of it

Its just that there are Americans that play on the Euro servers who will have a huge advantage over the Europeans. People don't mind that Americans get games first, its just that people all want to start off on a level playing field and by delaying the release here it means that its not a level field at all.
