Thread: Flash Speeder is the very sight of discrimination and racism at SWG!

I never seen such a thing in my gaming life.
The pre-order customers receives a special gift. Well everything seems fine from outlook,isn't it?
Now lets take a closer look. Unfortunatly the game seller companies from internet are not getting pre-orders from lots of countries which is outside USA. I am living in Turkey and there is no company which i can buy jtl from internet. Well the one of the JTL preorder link is actually sending the game to my country, BUT just the shippingis 60$ (which is two times cost of the game). So there is no way inhell that i can pre-order JTL. I will wait in my country for a month and maybe then it can be in stores. Well I CANNOT have that speeder even i pay same money every month,and to the jtl also. It is a cool looking speeder and i cannot even have it, not even buy with ingame credits. I am playing this game for 6 months and cannot tolarate such a discrimination. SOE must not take that kind of racist ,discriminated action or it will begin to lose serious customers from abroad countries such as a veteran player like me (i was not thinking to quit the game,but i cannot continue to play in such a racist game). I will write this to whatever forums that i can find. So i hope they will fix this in no time!

Thats not racism. It might be some sort of discrimination, but its not racism. The people that are being discriminated against, if at all, are people outside the U.S. and Canada, not any particular race.

Wow.... you really need to learn not to read so much into these kinds of things. It may not be SOE that isn't shipping it to your country, but the guys in the middle who you are actually buying it from. So thinking with such logic, you could easily determine many things to be racist. So, the higher prices of games in canada is a form a racism. The fact minorities get bonus points on SAT and ACT tests is racism (FYI I'ma minority). And all sorts of other random crap like that. Perhaps if you actually did your homework instead of making a fool of yourself you might learn something

I cannot buy many Turkish things in Seattle but that doesnt mean that everyone in Turkey is a racist towards me. There is the concept of things like trade barriers, tariffs, national treaties, and local laws and so on that go into whether or not a company can do something or sell something in another country or not.
I seriuously doubt that some in SOE is sitting there thinking that they must discriminate against the Turkish or anyone else.
Its quite likely the companies in question do not have operations in Turkey, or the ability to use their own distribution channels in Turkey.
I hear Turkey is trying to join the European Union, maybe if the country gets in, these type of issues will go away, but they certainly are NOT racist displays towards Turkish people as you proclaim. (and for the record, SOE doesnt control how much it costs to ship product, thats all controlled by the delivery people (surely you dont expect SOE to ship it to you at a loss to themselves?)
At any rate, consider the alternatives before you make claims of racism and bias.

You people r missing my point.IF such shipment is not available by today stardats, you cannot put anysurplus to your product which people that are living at most countries cannot have. So if u will put something to the game, put it to all products or to none of them. This is my point, I am not racist sort, but cannot tolarate discrimination. This is not a thread about racism politics but about SOE POLICY.I just put the rasicst word so that maybe just maybe i can get attetion to a developer so they will think about this subject at jtl.

I didn't buy my pre-order on the internet.. I bought the beta disk at EB games. If your country doesn't have any stores which sold the beta.. how can that be racist??
By the way Turkey has a very very bad histroy of genocide and racism..
