Another PvP question. Watching a PvP battle between 2 fairly large groups, the attacks that everyone was using was mind attack because it can't be healed. Ifa rifleman is standing a distance away, just getting to him, he might get off a shot or two off, taking a good chunk of mindaway. When you reach him, he changes to melee weapon. How have you guys counter this?

Hey since this is a pvp thread...lol answering these questions would be awesome.

hey for those combos what kind of dmg are we looking at?

How much dmg does knockdown 2 do? also what HAM does it dmg / what HAM does it use?

How effective are TKAs at killing kiting gunners?

how effective is lunge 2 and knockdown 2? When me and my friend were newbs, i would lunge andhe would just get up right afterwards leaving me notime to do anything.

Is TKA viable to use without some type of ranged?

How much dmg do u take while bursting to get that gunman?

Also, does med use HAM? imassuming mind, but just clarify that for me.

Geez lots of ?s haha. if u guys could get back to meon any of those thatd be great.

Thanks for the info! I was debating to go either rifleman or TKA. I don't like the cowardly way of hiding and sniping, where's the fun it that

I hope to get stronger soon, move on to stronger prey. getting tired of hunting wabbits all day long...

this is kind of a dissappointment... I mean... if you attack tactfully (hard and fast to their lowest HAM bar/ un armored portion) the fight is over in LESS then 2 sec. I attacked a creature handler and he didnt even have time to type: "A" which was attack for his creature, before I smoked him. What the hell does it matter what our abilities are if no one has a chance to use them.

Also I have been headshoted, by a heavy swordsman, knocked me out in one shot, and I have composite armor with 21% saves on damage and I went down like a sack of potatoes. (we had agreed I wouldnt run from him) I dont know if this is supposed to be this way, because it is rather starwarsy... actually its incredibly starwarsy, the problem being YOU CAN SHOOT THROUGH WALLS, so if there is no place to take cover, then what the hell is the point.

I agree, they need to make it where you can not shoot through an object unless you can see your target, or if he JUST ran behind it seconds before.

Either that or they are going to need to impliment an FPS style of gameplay to battlefields

i for one don't think we are screwed in pvp, the two main reasons people lost all the time in pvp is knockdowns(which no one will be able to spam except maybe in one on one fights, where they know when the opponent dies its over), and one shot kills from snipers and pistoleers. so problem A. knockdowns, they cost way too much now for use in anything other then 1on1(maybe) so that problem is fixed B. one shot kills, unless someone does 3 times your life in one shot that is being fixed too with 75% damage reduction so both those problems are now fixed

PS. i guess creature handlers are the only problem now, i dont think they should be nerfed i think we should still do 100% damage to creatures or soemthing like that, nerfs are soemtimes nessesary but we shouldn't wish it upon others

Despite all the issues with carbine HAM and effects not taking hold, I swear by carbine in pvp. Ive yet to lose a duel to my guildmates after update. Course im nearly dead from my own HAM costs(not using KD), but I won and thats all that matters in a duel. Course in pve or in large faction battles your easy pickings.

Why are people so worried about weather or not they can take out other real people? This is what's causing all the nerfs. Thats why the BH underhand shot was nerfed and I might add that as a former BH it was very important in being able to take down marks. For that nerf alone I switched to a Pistoleer/Smuggler combo. How many people even do PvP?
