I wouldent count on 1...I mean the ppl that get the Suro Sub are surley going to want something else later on. Be it a Fighter or another passanger ship...personally I dont think that should count towards your Ship count if there is one.

The last I heard it was one, but they also said it was highly likely that they would increase the number in beta. The commonguess on how many you'll be able to havefloating around is three.

Considering the fact that vets will have 2 ships from the get go one can assume 2-3. I'm actually hoping for 5-6 ships.I'd guess the various ships work like weapon certs. After filling a certain box you get a new certification. This would also give shipwrights a chance to gather resources and build thehigher level ships. Just like weapons, as you gain higher levels you're going to want to upgrade to better ships. While each ship (except for the starter ship) is customizable, certain ships fill certain roles. Limiting players to 1 or 2 ships is going to be a drag.

Lucasarts team at GENCON said only 1 ship in datapad. Odds are at that time may have been the case. I would assume it will be similar to vehicles in datapads. As stated Veterans get a Freeship on top of thier newbie ship right away so would need at least 2 spots.

I'm pondering them working like houses do. Lets say your only allowed ONE datapad spot for a ship.

HOWEVER, you can own as many ships as you want. Load them out differently. But you'll have to swing them out of your bank or house to switch them with the current ship in your inventory. As for how they work like houses...redeed them of course =P.

Not sure they'll do it like this or not. However, one this is certain. The DEFINATELY need a way to change ships out on a regular basis. I for one would HATE to play the game if you only got 1 ship and were stuck with that one.

Hmmm...I just thought that the ppl who get the suro sub would not get the newb ship. Like the sub would take it's place.

This is copied from the vet reward friday feature:

Star Wars Galaxies is pleased to announce the first veteran reward for longtime players! Veteran players are those players who have subscribed for at least 6 consecutive months. These players will receive the deed for the multi-passenger ship model SoroSuub Personal Luxury Yacht 3000 the day Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed launches. This starship model has been popularized in Star Wars fiction by Lando Calrissian's personal vessel, the Lady Luck. Non-veteran players will receive the reward once they become veteran players. Similar to the Special Edition goggles, this item will not be tradable.

The highlighted part makes me think otherwise. If vets ONLY got this ship then why would non vets get it also upon subscribing for 6 months?

That stupid that everyone willget one if they stay for at least 6 months. That makes it less special for us vets.
