Thread: Yacht Decorating Problem

I submit that the Yacht is too big for a 75 item limit. Mine is maxxed out now and still looks too empty - I wasn't able to do about one third of the things I had hoped to in there. Personally, I would like to see the amount doubled, even if it meant it took two lots.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Does anyone else have the problem in that you can put things on the bar? The moment I try to put something on the bar, it says that it is an invalid place. Why have a bar if you can't put drinks or food on it?

I haven't actually tried. It was going to be my plan to put lots of cups and bottles of alcohol on the glass shelves above the bar, and a few glasses on the bar itself with some candles, but used up my 75 items long before I could do that

There was a problem during beta in regards to putting fountains or fire in the yachts. Let's say you put a fountain in the middle of the floor in front of the bar. As soon as the yacht moved, the water in the fountain would instead of flowing down, shoot straight backwards providing the bartender and everyone in the back of the yacht with a good shower. Was this ever fixed?

Furthermore, I agree that 75 items is a bit sparse in a yacht. Perhaps make the yacht take two slots and increase its capacity to that of a medium house.

I think it would be nice to "assign" lots to it so for every lot you assigned it the item count would go up 75
On a side note I believe the same should be true of any house or large ship. This would remove the handcuffs from the folks who like to decorate thier houses or ships to the hilt. I love seeing what some folks have done with thier houses but walk into another room and find it bare as they had no more item count.

I have a fountain in my SoroSuub, and it does that. I think it looks awsome. But it's logical, anyway. I mean, if something is moving, water isn't going to stay in one place. It's going to spray backwards, fowards, or whatever the opposite direction that the craft is moving in.

And yes, I agree the storage limit really needs to be upped...

That sounds awesome, first piece of furniture in mine is going to be a fountain (it is named the Luv Boat anyway)

its not logical really, in space, theres no gravity, therefore the gravity aboard the yacht (or any mp ship) the gravity must be artificial, therefore the floor should be where stuff falls to in the ship, only exception being the gravity being shut off. In that case it would pool into giant bubbles of water and float around the room.

I have that problem, I wanted to put drinks on the bar but it said I couldn't move it there. Then I decided to try to raise the item up higher but that didn't work, the whole part is sealed off. If anyone has a way around it or something, be appreciated.

this ship should hold a about 200 items considering that it has roughly the same interior space as a large house. The YT1300 should hold more as well.
