Ok, I've always dreamed of having my own Falcon since I heard of SWG.
Now that I've flown one, I have found that it is utterly worthless. Why?
BECAUSE I NEED AT LEAST 2 FRIENDS TO GO WITH ME TO USE IT IN COMBAT!!!
Sure, it is MUCH better if I have a crew of 4, but it SHOULDN'T BE NECESSARY. The quad lasers in all the books can be fired from the cockpit. Sure, you can't AIM them... but you could fire them. THey should just be locked foreward like a fighter when you have no gunners.
This ship is the top of the ladder for neutrals, and it is useless in single combat.
I know many friends of mine wanted nothing more out of JTL than to own their own YT-1300 and use it. Now this is useless.
So please... Lock the guns foreward if there's no gunners and give us a chance to defend ourselves.
Or quite frankly, I see no reason to buy JTL.

Update... ONE GUN WON'T MAKE IT MORE POWERFUL THAN A TIER 2 SHIP IN SOLO COMBAT.. THIS IS A REASONABLE REQUEST!

I clearly support this issue, with a sensible compromise.

But think this was deleted because it is a petition. In the forum guildlines it says the Devs do not read petitions, and can be deleted. So maybe this topic would be best served if it was changed from a petition, into a discussion.

You cant alternate unless the other person is also a master pilot. If not they will not be certified for it.

I think this really promote teamplay! I never saw Han fly it alone and firing all guns at the same time..?

The thing is though that not all of us have our friends on all the time when we play. As far as I know I am the only one who even bought JTL as of this point in time. So even if somehow I became a Master Privateer and owned my YT-1300 I would be going at it solo. If I can't defend myself in some way, what's the point of taking it up. If I want to use a single player ship I will, but if I own the ship of my dreams then I should be able to fly it and be able to defend myself against the Imperial Scum if I get attacked. Besides can't really role play a smuggling CH who smuggles rare and exotic creatures to who ever can pay the fee in a single played ship!
