SWG:
1. When I first logged on and everything was sooooo big!!
2. Getting to Master Marksman, I felt like I could take on anything...I was oh so wrong!
3. Pulling out a camp in the middle of nowhere with a group of friends healing after an encounter with npcs with no more than
1000HAM, and conversing in said camp about what 'hard' stuff we'd attack next with our feeble skills (buffs were rare back then)
4. Becoming an Imperial (which I still am) and being able to do missions with 3 troops.
5. And being able to walk around in the countryside without seeing a single player owned structure...ah the days of the wilderness!!
JTL
1. Flying a TIE Fighter
2. Having a real players as wingman
3. Finishing that last Tier 4 mission (more of a challenge than missions to get Ace)
4. Seeing the Star Destoryer for the first time!!
5. Taking a crew (mostly non-ace)up on my Decimator in Deep Space and taking out a corvette which I never thought we'd be
ableto do on an MP ship (easy in a fighter)!! We loved every minute of the experience!

SWG
1. Opening up the old Vagabond's Rest website and seeing how good the roleplayers were on the forums. Later, after the game started, realizing just how good they were in game too.
2. My character, Mandash Grim, getting the highest bid in a batchelor's auction and the RP which followed from it.
3. Tamboran hiding under a couch when The Glaston Piratesraided Adara's ADaM compound and gruff old Mandash having to talk the effete artiste out again.
4. The original VR city hall, just a PA hall back in olden times, going up on Rori and all the celebrations throughout the night. You really appreciate what you've done when it takes hard work. And back then there weren't mounts, vehicles, town shuttleports or stockpiles of resources all over the place. Mask scent didn't always work right even.
5. After messing around with many classes finally getting the balance right to reflect my character concept. He may not be hunting Nightsisters or PvPing in composite with a meat-cleaver in hand but he can survive just about any normal threat environment without either armor or buffs and keep his friends alive in the process. Also has some useful adventuring skills that aren't combat related. And in my reading of Star Wars, that's about how it should be.
JtL
1. When it suddenly dawned on me this *was* more X-Wing than Freelancer! Computer programs (energy management), special abilities, rendered cockpits, padlocking, targetable systems, robust targeting commands...now if they'd just fix /formations).
2. First launching aboard my Sorosuub Yacht! I'm an old guy. I don't giggle. But if I did...I'd have been doing it for an hour or two. Wow! Why ever land again when you can live, work and party up here?
3. Launching aboard my YT-1300. Remember what I said about hard work and appreciating rewards? x10. The whole concept beyond stats and skills for my character was that he was a freighter captain (among other things). While roleplaying a captain without his ship did have its perks this is really what I'd been waiting for. I'd asked, along with alot of other folks, for rendered interiors and multiple crew positions. They actually freakin' did it. And they did a great job of it too! I'd also asked for a trading game element which, I suspect, there are hooks for along with asteroid mining. Why do I say that? Because NPC freighters have cargo (they can be scanned and disabled/boarded even if the loot doesn't actually appear). And multiposition ships have way more mass than they can use for gear. That's gotta be a hold.
4. Getting involved with Gwreng's Alliance Fighter Command on Starsider. Roleplayed briefings and full PvP battles with fleets of ships. Doesn't get more Star Warsy than that.
5. Roleplaying onboard my YT-1300 or with a wing of fighters in a group. You're there. The game systems accurately enough reflect the setting that, for a change, the hardcorded 'game' actually encourages immersion. Some folks don't like the word simulation. For me it's completely interchangable with the idea of immersion when you're talking about a known environment. The better, not necessarily more complicated, the setting is replicated the more you'll suspend disbelief. And that's what immersion in the context of a virtual world should be about. Especially one based on a licenced property. Sure, some liberties will have to be taken for technical or playbalance reasons. But never, ever, let marketing or enthusiasm for minor aspects of settingdictate environment unless the environment doesn't matter.

SWG:
1. Joining TDS (The Dark Sun) and then joining IFN (Infinity)
2. My friends, Wathok, Valentio, Dared, Tibattican, Arielle, Cherry, Kipera, Gylor, Mazuss, Oew, Ceraand too many others to list who have come and stayed or gone. I'm just glad to know or have known them.
3. Mastering Rifleman while on a guild-sponsored hunt.
4. Mastering Doc and being the driving force behind the free guild meds policy. (Although it's kinda hard with just one factory churning out things for an entire guild... hehehe.)
5. Going Novice Shipwright and having the backing of my friends who slay spawns around my harvesters and lend me their lots.
JtL:
1. Mastering Rebel Pilot. We had nearly 30 people on that Vette mission. It was awesome. (Donie actually forsook his own master mission to help me.)
2. My first PvP kill in Kessel, and my first PvP death in Kessel.
3. One of my guildies remarking, "Man, they should just paint the red and yellow 'S' on that A-Wing!" after I singlehandedly took the aggro of 15 enemy fighters that jumped him on one of his Tier 4 missions, allowing him to complete his objective.
4. When Teiluj and Destry turned my Nova "R-Rated."
5. The Tier 3 missions when all of us grouped as much as we could.
