How do the Empire name their fighters? I think its like Gamma 123 or something like that right? Just curious cuz i want a authentic empire name

Probably squadron name, and then the fighter's numbernumber.


E.I. Beta 6, Alpha 7, Zeta 3.


But thats only the designation for Star Destroyer/Imperial Navy ships, not sure about other groups.

Squadron name is the name of a letter in the greek alphabet, followed by your tail number.

hehe, i named my Y-wing The crimson Tuning fork. Its previous name was Lucifers Speculum but i thought that was a bit much for the young eyes.

anyone have any idea what the cirtieria are for valid and invalid ship names??

I have had a hard time trying to name ships, because 2/3 of the names I try are rejected.
I'm not trying to be offensive or to anything wierd, i just try and put somthing with my wife's name (Shanda) in it, and
it say its not accepable.

i dunno i wanted to name my Z95 "Phantom" after the F4 Phantom(seemed fitting as the Z95 is a dated but still quite fuctional frame). and it didnt let it go through. maybe its just like character names and it cant be in use allready.

I was unable to use anything containing the word 'Mockingbird'. Seems kinda ridiculous.

I couldn't use anything with Imperial, Empire, or Emperor.

i cant use nething with The in front of it....tried The Husky Salmon....didnt take it tho it took Husky Salmon....same with The Rusty Tomato....yeah my ship names rule
