Hi, last night i had a sw re 7 lvl 7 engines. After hes was done the engines combined made a worse engine. max speed dropped pitch and yaw dropped. Now i didnt take the time to take note of all stats on all 7 engines involved, maybe i should or maybe i should just write down all the best stats, Now is there a bug when reing engines or did this sw switch what i gave him? thanks

Don't feel too bad, though. Unless you had some 1 in 10000 drop level 7 engines, then I'm certain that your RE'd engine, even with the stats you expected, would have been worse than most RE'd level6 engines. (Probably even worse than a lot of level 4s.) Odd numbered loot engines pretty much ALWAYS have poor stats compared to the even numbered ones. Same goes for boosters and capacitors.

You´ve been fooled or it was a bug, nothing else is possible. When you RE all the BEST stats of all used components flow into the new component u create +a bonus from REìng itself, hence you will NEVER get a worse engine then any you put in when RE`ing.
Ibelive you´ve been tricked, parts swapped with not so good ones and then RE´d and given to you buy the Shipwright you were doing this with.
Or it was a bug, wich i can not really imagine, never had a bug like that.

I think ya got stiffed. I RE stuff all the time, i have NEVER seen a part come out with worse stats then with what went in, if anything it should be like 5% or so better than with what you started with.

I RE high end level 6/7 weapons and lvl 6 capcitors so I keep track of all stats and if the stats dropped then etiher you gave him the wrong eq, he switched it out or you were mistaken. REing onlymakes the stats better IE on and engine yaw/pitch/roll/max speed it'll take the top stats and add a x% bonus to them andthe mass/RED it'll take the lowest stats and subtract a x% bonus from them. Whenever your REing equipment through a 3rd party check the stats and keep a record, prevents issues like this from arising, or gives you sulotions to them when they do arise

If ya run across issues with your SW, I'll RE stuff too. Shipwright is a hobby for me...droids are my business.

This is one of the main reasons I decide to just master sw with mycrafter on Tempest. That and the fact that I could never find someone to re when I had time.
Is the component description window text copiable?? That would make it so much easier to make a record of your parts either in a mail or notepad. You could then email that list to the sw before handing over the items, at least on important re'ed. This would seem like a great idea for both parties involved...well, maybe not so much for the thieves.
