For those who completed the quest, can you tell me what it is you had to do. Who you had to fight? What planet? How much time should I set aside to accomplish this goal? And if I am grouped will the whole group be able to get one or will we have to do this multiple times.

Thx in advance

That is something I'd like to know too. Haven't really heard much about the Jedi Starfighter quest.

Go to the night sister stronghold POI wp. Near that wp is a corpse you need to loot. Use Ctrl-n (keep holding it down or it will turn off) to find the corpse. There is a letter in there that spawns every 30 minutes. Just read the later to start the quest.

You have to be imp to do the quest and have kashyyyk.

There are two ground mission on kashyyyk and one space mission above kashyyyk. Both ground missions are quick.

When I did it, I had help from a lvl 80 imp. Im a pure crafter at level 1. Then I helped her in space because I'm an ace and she was only tier 3. So, in the end we helped each other and finished the quest.

Found this guide to getting the Jedi Starfighter posted by Xymox.

I did my quest for it in under an hour 2 weeks ago.I found it to be fairly easy. Ihavent completed the quest yet. The last part of the quest the space mission is alot of fun. You will need Imperial pilot 4/3/3/3 to be cerified to fly the Jedi Starfighter

Read on . . . .

Here's a guide to help you along one of THE most bug ridden quests for one of the coolest ships in the game. Begin your quest by heading out to the Nightsister Stronghold on Dath. and look for a pile of bones just east of the Stronghold's entrance. If it was anything like I went through you'll have to wait in a line for the Data Pad to spawn. It takes 30 min for it to spawn so in that time you can read, play a console game or chat with other players in line.

When you have your Data Pad, Read it to start your quest then head off to Kashykk. When you land, enter the door just left of the Bounty Officer and talk to the Zabrak Imp. DO NOT ASK IF HE'S SOBER!! This will end your quest fast and you'll have to go back to the bones and wait again. Your next mission will be to escort an AT-ST back to the starport. There's a work around for this seriously bugged mission. Go 'On Leave' before you start the quest. This will not only make you un-attackable by the assaulting Rebels, but your AT-ST as well. Normally, when your AT-ST is attacked it will try to follow the Rebels into the hills and get stuck. Your mission will be ruined if that happens and you'll have to go back to the bone line yet again. Also, WALK, don't run your AT-ST back to the starport. When you get back to the camp your mission will be completed. Before you go talk to the Zabrak imp again, head to the Starship term, hit a planet with an imp recruiter and go back on duty. Head back to Kashykk and begin phase 2. You will now have to stop a Rebel attack on the Starport. This is also bugged as most of the Rebels and Wookies will spawn inside the surrounding hills. If this happens and you can't complete your mission, just le them kill you. This will reset your mission and you won't have to go back to the bones and repeat everything up to this point. Other then the bug, this is an easy and straight forward mission. Kill the reb's and wookies and phase 2 is complete. Phase 3 has you head to the Dead Forest to find Scout Troopers and defend their camp from a Rebel attack. This is also easy and I experienced no bugs on this one. It's easy to find the scouts, you'll get a wp to find them. Just head down the center path until you find the Scouts to your right. Wait for the attack, hit the rebs with area attacks and end this phase fast. Now comes the cool part. Head back to the Zabrak imp and he tells you there's a new commander to report to. Head down the corridor previously un-open to you and there you'll find Darth Vader. He'll give you the last phase of this quest and when he does, you'll get your deed for the JSF! He gives you a space mission and it's pretty fun. First you should travel back to where ever you have your ship parts and ready your JSF. When your done, head to Kashykk space. Your mission will be to take command of a tie fighter squad and fend off a squad of x-wings. When this is finished a squad of tie bombers will show up and after them,3 Rebel Transports, 1 Rebel Gunboat and1 Rebel Nova (all Tier 3). All you need to do now is take out the guns on the Nova and Gunboat and the bombers will hit all these ships hard. When the last Transport is space junk, your quest is over! Head back to Vader and you'll get 3000 imp faction points (I saw someone post they received 3500 but I had to re-do phase 4 because I LD'ed).

Forgive me if this walkthrough seems rushed, I'm writing it while on lunch break. If you have any questions just post them and I'll answer them best I can.

Ok this has to have some major bugs. I have done it 6 times now. Even if I try the trick of being on leave that darn AT-ST climbs up a hill and never comes down. Seems like the same point he always wants to turn arround and go back to where I got him. He will not stay with me no matter what I do. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the club. Don´t bother opening a ticket for it. I did and all they replied was

"We know of this"

"We can not help you"

"We appreciarte your patience"

In other words... "Thank´s for trying, but now ur screwed, and we are not doing much against it right now."

Wish I could write a letter to the Devs that they would actually read. I came back to this game in hopes that they had fixed at least some things while I was gone. All I see is bug after bug and them putting out new content that never works. I mean we want the quests to work who cares about multi passenger vehicles. Why should I have to do a simple task of WALKING a friggin 2 story walker that should easily outpace me at a run over 7 times.
I know the standard answer is it is SOE but I am starting to get upset. We all pay good money for this game each month just to have the darn thing broken more and more everytime they put something out. Or putting in stuff no one really cares about instead of fixing the game and ignoring thier customer base.

Anyone know how to get the rebels that are stuck in the surrounding terrain? I've been trying and trying and the bastards will not come out and attack me! Please help...

Getting the walker to follow, and getting the attackers to spawn outside of hills, is all a matter of luck.

I've found the following seemed to help me:

When herding the walker, do your best not to stop. pause when it gets a bit too far, but try to keep walking the entire time. Walking with a ranged weapon is a good idea. Do this mission when things aren't too busy.

When fighting the rebel attack at the base, try to do it when someone else is doing it, or has just done it. May seem mean, but I think the primary spawns are the bugged ones (inside obstacles) and if you're the second or 3rd person at that time, your spawns will appear in the clear.

I never had any rebels spawn in trees during phase3 so I have no tips for that.

I walked the AT-ST back the entire way and didn't have any issues. I'm a lvl 80 combat class.

The second part on the defense, I got to all the rebels in the hills one way or another. Sometimes it took getting them out of a nook by sending my own AT-ST in to aggro them.

I'm a 4/4/3/4 pilot. I didn't have any problems completing this one solo my first time through.

Yes.....I'm lucky I guess from all the other peeps reporting problems with it. You can all hate me now.

The JSF and ARC for certain, and probably the Vaksai, RG Interceptor, and Advanced Xwing too, all require completing certain quests to unpack the deed.

Just dont go combatant for the AT-ST part and you wont be attacked. If the rebs get stuck in the hill log out for 30 minutes and retake the mission.
