Thread: Jedi Crafting Question Is the +25 tape cap inplace for Jedi LS Crafting?

I'm a Full template Jedi, with LS X4X4 and I'm looking forward to craft a final LS.
My problem is, I've gota total of+33 LS experimentation with tapes, and my LS skill gives me +75.
There's this +25 cap that worries me, being near +35 I want to know if one can craft with the extra +35
(for a total of 110 exp points) a 11pt after patch 22. Iknow that you can't go past the 12pts of
experimentation but since I'm not going over the 120 points, maybe there's this chance of better crafting.
(Long ago a guildie crafted with over +25 tapes in artisan not having the master)

as far as i know the cap for all skill mods is and has always been+25, but I have +26 2h ls speed, and it shows up under my skill mods as +26 (whether or not that +1 works i cant tell for obvious reasons).... might as well splurge and get 2 more points and give it a shot.... if it works andu get 11 points, that'd be amazing....

The exp for Jedi should be in line with every crafting profession. The only exception is Artisan. Humans get +15 artisan experimentation as one of their passive traits. Thus, Human Artisans with enough exp tapes to hit +25 can be 14 point. I don't believe this will ever happen for Jedi.

artisan is a special case because humans start out with a +15 bonus. and, all the experimentation points are in the 44xx branches, none in the master box. so, a non-human 44xx artisan is as good as a master, and has +100 points, and with +25 in tapes will get to +125 for 12 points. but a human 44xx artisan with +25 in tapes will get to 110+15+25, so that's 140 and you get 14 points.
but that's *only* because of the human bonus specific to artisan, and has nothing to do with not being a master or exceeding the 25 cap in tapes. as far as i know, altho i haven't tested it myself, the +25 cap is in place for lightsaber exp.
