Just how important is Lightsaber speed?

is there a cap?

Due to our Lightsaber Speed mods, it's not nearly as important as damage. Just for perspective, one of my grinding saber's (4 high damage crystals used) has a speed of 7.4 with damage of 1000-1600. Due to the cap I swing it just about as fast as my 1.0 speed saber.

But I don't dare use specials with it... the force cost is like 5x that of my all-pearl saber.

because the cool downs are using the sabers base speed instead of mod speed.

get a doc buff or forcespeed, sometimes i hit under 2 seconds

Did a quick search, didnt see anything that answerd my questions.

When are we going to be able to hit more then once every 2 seconds?

Why is lightsaber speed broken atm?
