Thread: Quick Saber crafting advice
My two cents. I use the 12 point suit and all that jazz.
I always use 9 points in efficiency so I can get 48 FC and 95 SAC. To me that is the most important stat. Force is rarely an issue and action is rarely an issue for me. In fact, I cant even remember a time where it was an issue.
If you do testing, the 3 points into speed will increase your DPS most.
That being said, artifical inhibitors like cool down, borked crystals, etc, change that significantly.
The prevailing wisdom currently is that you place 1 (or 3 if you can) point(s) into damage.
I find this to make the most effective weapon out there.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Efficiency definately is important 48FC and ~97sac are prefered, then id go damage for a few points, to 250 roughly.. thn plonk any left over in speed.

I would agree. Having my SAC down to 95 is A LOT better than a SAC of 101 and .03 less speed. I tried numerous types of sabers (all damage, all speed, all eff) and the efficiency ones are definitely better. Especially if you don't have perfect tunes.
I am of the opinion that 3xxx ENH makes speed exp redundant except with spare points.
And i dont know wht you're doing, but when i experiment on damage it goes up a fair bit...

experimenting in dmg does not improve teh saber enough to spend points on dmg
dps will go up more with speed rather than dmg experimenting
And DPS mean squat, i thought people would get it by now
