I posted this on my server forum, but i wanted to post here as well.....please consider
This is not a complaint thread....this is a call to action
I was just over on the BH forum and they have a big thread going about Jedi house sitting. They are proposing all kinds of ridiculous things to get us to fight them. I and several other jedi have posted on the thread and tried to make our case for why we dont fight BH. We all know the reasons....
1. We have been nerfed into a Joke profession
2. We have absolutly nothing to gain from the fight....but we have a lot to lose
3. We dont want to be forced into being sombody elses content
4. We pay $15 a month, just like everyone else, we want to fight on our terms, in our way, or not at all.
there are many other reasons...we all have our own, but these were the main ones.
Here is my call to action.
We, as a jedi community are fed up with all nerfing.We are feed up withgrinding our temp only to find that it is worthless in the next patch. We are fed up with the lack of content for us...while at the same time being forced to be sombody elses content. We are feed up with being weak. We are feed up with being on par with the regular combat professions. I realize we will probably never get the Devs to change things, but as a Jedi community i think we should come together and start actively resisting.
My proposal is this....DO NOTHING! Thats right, when a BH comes for you dont fight him. Doesnt matter if you can beat him or not, dont fight him. Do everything you possibly can to make hunting jedi as aggrevating, time consuming, boring, and FRUSTRATING as humanly possible.(run away, cloak, house sit, log...whatever you have to do) We must resist or we will continue to be shafted. If we all come together and decide not to fight then people will have to start looking at what we can do to make it fair and enjoyable for everyone.
There is a huge amount of anamosity in the game between BH and Jedi. The Devs could make a couple of simple changes and allieviate some of the big problems. If we all decide not to fight then both the jedi communtiy and the BH community will be asking the Devs for the changes. I realize that it is not always possible to avoide a fight and maybe some of you dont want to. But we need as many of us as possible to join the resistance. Do everything you can to not fight. Do everything you can to make the BH waste his time and money. Do everything you can to make hunting jedi unrewarding, and painful.

unless I missed something why would you NOT be able to house sit? If its your private residence u can stay as long as you please with no bother. This has never changed unless your character accidentally got kicked out by starting combat INSIDE first.

If a BH initiates conbat on a Jedi mark aren't the Jedi evicted?

You missed something. You can't enter while the BH Tef is on you, but that wears off after a while.
KD, Root, FR till combat stops, pull bike, drive to house or drive around randomly for a couple minutes, enter house. Done. Just be sure to store your bike once in the house, as the BH can "reTEF" you out of the house by attacking your bike. But once you are in, there's nothing he can do but go home. He lost that round.

yes AFTER combat starts..house sitting refers to going into your house and sitting there. If you have no TEF then sitting in your house afk can protect you from a Bh encounter.

Any one you have access too. I am cantina sitting as we speak. And its private.

any private structure that you have access to that the BH does not...
