The latestrumour I heard was that the proposed FRS designthat SOE submitted to LucasArts for approval was turned down. Therefore, it's status has reverted from In Development back to In Concept. (Or possibly earlier than that?)
This is only a rumour, to be categorized along with all other rumours as exactly that. A rumour. As for facts, I know as much as you do.

Had our night rolling crews, our overt groups we hung out with, our missons and given duties, our clubhouse aka enclave without all the newbies (sorry just facts) in the world yelling things like I "ownzered you" --- etc..
We lost alot more then what a person never had... big difference. We went from having a system above the system you know now.. to having it ripped from us. Mods, Robes etc...
There is a difference from having the car and driving it and never having one to drive in the first place.... trust me.
(on the flip side we did get to all Master Pilot lol)

Jacella fair point, but the quickest way to stop all this would be for the devs to at least give some kind of timescale or a hint at their plans or maybe even reassure us that they are actually doing some thing. Would be nice and would maybe quieten down these kind of posts. And if you dont like what he has to say why keep replying and bumping it up?

you bring up a great point...what about the mid quest players....I dont see soe having enough talent and skill to have you at your point and let you continue from your current advancement. Call me crazy but I dont see how a duel system can be implimented when the frs comes back online. And in SOE fashion, nothing will be even close as before. You might be able to keep your stats but I doubt that also because of frs points exploiting pre cu. But no matter, might be a year before it comes back online. Doesnt look like a high priority either at soe or lucas arts.
