Thread: Can you balance the Cloak Nerf?

Ok, the nerf will happen, cause the nerf always happens. But make it so a BH can not track you while your cloaked. If your walking all snared, they only have to type /follow and they will be on you everywhere you go, and that in turn makes Cloak worthless. If you want it to work as intended to be a Escape Tactic, then STOP BH DRIODS from tracking you while you are cloaked. As for a jedi, that would at least give him time to regen somewhere, or /Runsnared lol somewhere safe. Not much else he can do, he cant talk to anyone?, which cmon thats stupid. most of everyone has Teamspeak, or ventrillo. So allow him to go in peace, Its not much but it would make it better for those who dont have FR2,FR3. PLEASE!!!!!

im sure they will nerf it because powers is too 'powerful' anyway.

If they are typing "/follow", report them for exploiting.

Technically speaking, Devs have stated Cloak was designed as an Alpha strike. Perhaps the unintended use was Jedi using it as an escape tactic. I do know base shut downs, looting chests in PvE dungeons was not intended so it might be it was also no intended for Jedi to use this to escape PvP encounters. If that's the case, you are better off arguing how it affects a player using it for an Alpha strike rather than focusing on evading BH's which it was not designed to do.
Devs answer to balancing anything in Jedi is adding a snare........I'm not impressed. Couldn't they find better ways to balance the issues people had rather than making it almost not worth it? From the sounds of it you will no longer be able to heal, channel, get away, loot, shut down bases. In order to use it as an alpha strike you'll basically be crawling up to people rofl. Rifleman's cover is looking much better now, you can at least stay undercover and fire without showing yourself. Oh well, just the on going war that non-Jedi seem to be winning (and I guess the few dim wit Jedi that call for Jedi nerfs)
