Or anyone else that can awnser this heh. I have a TKM and was wondering if i had him get Force Def master would the def from the melee and ranged still work for him? I know that in the melee and ranged def part it's not general def but it is more less the same i think. I know if i had armor on i could not use the jedi armor on it or any force skills. I am just thinking about the melee and the ranged def i would get out of it. Is there any way you or anyone else can tell me if this would work? THX!

The innate armor from TKM and Force Defender do NOT stack.

EDIT: Looking in to Melee and Ranged Defense stacking.

But being a TKM while you grind to full template Paddy does help

(also heals the wounds and helps with a little Defense)..

heh well i know that the 2 innate armor from TKM and frce def don't stack. but i was wanting to do it only for the reg melee and ranged def from it. not for the innate armor. The reg def part is what i am wondering wether or not it would work. cuz with the melee def from the force melee def tree would rise my melee def higher up then a reg prof would i think. that was the part i was wondering if it would work or not. or would the foce innate armor mess everything up?

Theoretically, you'd have +340 Melee Defence and +290 Ranged Defence if you had both TKM and MDef and picked the Defence branches from Enhanced Reflexes. You'd have 31 SP left for anything else, which would only be enough for a single branch of another Jedi discipline, eg. Healer 4000. TKM doesn't have a huge damage output, so while I think very little in the game could kill you, by the same token you couldn't kill it (easily) either.

With diminishing returns I don't think it would be worth the skillcost IMO.

heh but in a way it would make me one hell of a tank though right? and being able to take more of a beating then most people could i would think. I am unshure on what the most def one could have but if that is the highest then i think that would be cool. Oh i would not be doing this for my char to go jedi just was wondering if that would work and since this is the jedi forms thought some one would know =) thx
