Publish 24 made Lightsaber Crafting Kits as no trade items, like the sabers themselves. Just thought you should know.

Was me. Here's the summary:
1) When you create a tool, you can drop them in any structure you have admin rights to, whether you own it or not. Other players who have admin rights can pick them up. You can offer them to vendors. You can sell them on vendors. Other players can buy them from vendors.
2) They become No Trade when you select a schematic to begin the crafting process. Once they are no trade you cannot drop them in a house or structure that you do not own, regardless of whether or not you have admin rights. You can only drop them in a structure you own, declared residence or otherwise. Other players who have admin rights to your structure cannot pick these items up. They cannot be offered to vendors.
So is it confirmed that it was changed because you could craft sabers for other people, or was that hearsay?

hearsay
you cannot do this and never could. ive tryed every which way and left to see if i could recreate it.
Even if you craft a tool with a full inventory and it remains in your crafting station, you cannot transfer it to anyone, even if you trade the house and tool and every combination in between to another player.
back in the day, it was a little more possible, thus players having sliced sabers etc

They become no trade once you make a saber.
If you never use it to make a saber you can trade it.
This was to stop people from crafting sabers with full inventories and trading the saber kit to a noobly jedi and get a perfect saber.
So no more borrowing someones 15.00 saber kit.
