I posted a few days ago an ide about if a BH dident complett a misson he would lose X amount of Xp that would be like jedi xp, but instead BH xp. This was what i got for answer.
I'm replying to this via PM because I don't want to go off topic of the post you replied to:
1) Jedi is a "bonus" class that is not available to all players by default; it must be unlocked. As a bonus class, it is subject to unique situations that other professions do not have to deal with; such as visibility, bounties, and XP loss. In return, players with Jedi are given a second character slot, additional power, and also just the ability to play as a Jedi
Bounty Hunter is a "normal" class that is available to all players by default; the only "unlocking" needed is grinding a normal amount of XP similiar to any other combat profession. As a result, they are not subject to penalties for failure or bounties. Yes, they do have the ability to hunt other players, but this is no different (from a Dev perspective) than a Smuggler's ability to slice, a Squad Leader's ability to lead groups, or a Ranger's ability to traverse the wilds better. Bounty Hunters, by design, are balanced to the same amount of power that any other profession could attain. Bounty Hunters also do not have a second character slot. Therefore, I see no reason that Bounty Hunters should be subject to additional bounties for failed attempts; weapon smiths aren't hunted for making crappy guns.
2) There are enough other professions out there begging to be hunted that Bounty Hunters could take a back seat
So i woulder should i blame my self for grinding so hard so i hade my jedi unlockt or should i just drop it all. I wounder how tempest would be if there wasent any jedi around. What would the BH's complain about then?
