Thread: whats the lowdown on speed CA ?

Ive been hearing several things through the rumor mill..


LS + speed tapes (like 1h saber speed +7 etc..) do not work..

where as I hear general melee speed DOES work for jedi...


Anyone confirm/deny or give me the lowdown ? thanks

do a basic test with ur pearls or crystals.


do a series of attacks with 1 pearl, 1 color crystal


do the same test with 4 pearls, 1 crystal


notice a difference in speed?


your speed from CAs have a direct effect on the speed of the saber, supposidly. however, the real math of that is unknow and/or miscalculating. now SOE hasn't specified any real data on this probably because they don't know themselves, or i should say, havn't decided how they want the speed to calculate as to not make it and jeditoo powerful. if my attack speed were anything close to what my mod saber speed indicates, i guesstimate a 25% increase in the overall power of my toon. who knows, maybe my own analysis is totaly borked to begain. guess we can wait for the next few months to see what SOE says or does about it, if anything.

so are you saying that is correct that LS speed tapes are broken? lol

they are not, whats broken is the jedi cooldown time. It calculates off base speed instead of modified.
