Forums can be a cancer, and I sucked it hook, line and sinker like most today. It started with the reaction to Garva's plea for understanding, and ended with me trolling every last post on the forum that I thought was predjuditial, insulting, and deflamatory to the game and those that work on it. I care about timelines, EU, and star wars as much as anyone here, but I was wrong to make so many statements about the erroneous number and induced mentality of players in the Jedi profession. I mean, why wouldn't you want to be a Jedi? Why wounldn't anyone? What is Star Wars without them? Non-existent I would think. The lore of Jedi is the reason we are all so enamored with this universe is it not? Philisophically simplistic, yet undeniably attractive. I got wrapped up in Doctor when I started playing for the professional aspects, but I would gather most of you started to play Jedi not to pwn, but rather that this is what you identify as the basis of star wars. In it's current form, I agree, you are a diverse profession that has few true abilities that aren't duplicated, sometimes effectively better, in straight professions. You deserve better, and at least equal stats to anything duplicated that we have in normal combat profession trees. I apologize for riding you guys today. Looking at the forums, one would think the Jedi profession was stacked full with want to be gods, yet the minute I log on to the game and see a few of my guildies names pop up, I know better. New Valor Jedi are the best and most dedicated players I have met in all my time here. They deserve better than the shoot-from-the-hip statements I made today. Wax, Masto, Galco, Zakazz, Incident, Alak, and on...These guys deserve better, and the represent the game and Jedi profession better than we have seen here today. They deserve better than they have been given over the past few months. Not only are these the best veterans in the game, they represent the best group of players in the game.

I will make no more derogatory statements towards Jedi from here on out. All I ask is this, if you are a Jedi, try to understand what that means on the forums. Jedi would not make the comments I have seen here today. Rascist and sexist comments do not become a true Jedi. Tearing down another human being for asking you to think before acting (good advice really) does not become a Jedi.

Constructive criticism, thoughtful input, and I will even state community threads of agreement (petition) and respectful conversation do compliment your profession. Most Jedi I know are respected leaders in the game. I want to respect your profession when I am not logged in as well. Be veterans, and lead this game to a balance. If I have offended any of you today, please accept this apology.

Very nicely said....now if everyone else here would just read this and settle down.....we might get somewhere. People need to stop the flaming and retardedness (please dont delete for that word Mods..was all I could think of that fit >< ) and try to post constructive threads here that inform the whole jedi community about bugs and other problems that have arisen since the publish. We should be trying to find a way to get past the 'nerfs' and work with them instead of being here accepting defeat and cancellling accounts left and right. Where there is a will there is a way.....

I hope you do get somewhere. I noticed the galaxy very quiet tonight. When I logged on the people still there were my guilds Jedi and alts, which is when I realised after a day of fighting on the forums, that like my toon they are the core of our guild. We are a pretty tight nit bunch at our core and would quickly die without them. I think the same goes for most communities in galaxy. One thing no one can say about galaxies is that we don't have the best player base in the market. We do...Our server based communities is the reason we keep playing without fail. The jedi profession is the center of that core because so many stay for that reason. In our guild alts are used for guild needs and not personal gains. For example a smuggler who slices for free, another alt working for weaponsmith, another is armorsmith, dancers, musicians, politician, you name it. Our jedi alts are very important to city and guild. I assume we are not the only small niche that depends on this...
