Didnt the Padawan box cost 250 SP, but then you could basically train up every disipline you wanted, and why was this done away with?

Jedi only had two options really, Dark Jedi or normal Jedi.

You could choose which box you could train in just like any other profession, but the progression was basicly limited, every jedi by the time they were '4444 guardian' was the same (a couple of suttle differences between dark and light.)

I remember a jedi one day came near me on Dathomir, his name was Ugros. He was tearing up and down mountains 3 hitting rancors. There were bits of Rancor flying everywhere. He was Uber. Now..not so much.

I also remember back when I was an initiate before publish 9, as soon as you saw any other person you had to run like hell, any sort of DOT on you and you were toast. Fun and exciting, Pearmadeath or then Skillbox loss, couldn't kill anyone until half way through knight, even then, 4444 guardian and a TKA melee stacker could fight a Jedi all day.

Thank god for the combat upgrade or we would still have a crap system like that.
