Thread: Blue Glowie: Make it a Rez

Right now, it's VERY un-Star Warsy and kind of useless. So...
Make the Blue Glowie ability a Self-Rez.
- It would make you a Blue Glowie for 10 minutes. During this time you could not interact with anything. (buff efect)
- If you can't interact with anyhting, you can't exploit it.
- After 10 minutes you would return to normal status.
- Useable once an hour.
- Since Decay has been removed, it wouldn't unbalance gameplay.
- We could avoid seeing 20 Blue Glowies at every SP for the next year.
Now THATS a Vet Jedi reward that I would be happy with.

The point was, give it an actual SW fit. In SW, Blue Glowie means your dead, and now it's been turned into a parlor trick. Making it a Rez would fit SW Cannon as well as have a practical use that wasn't unbalanced since decay has been removed...

/bump this up... great idea. Fits with SW lore better than purely a 'toggle switch'. Something else to think about too - in its current state, when NGE goes live EVERY elder jedi will be using this effect. I'd rather not have to put up with every other jedi I see being in blue glowie form till they get bored of it. It'll be pretty wierd for a while after NGE hits.

Blue Glowy is somthing alot of ppl are looking forward to , i dont suggest limiting it by putting a 10 min timer on it , as for it being un-starwarsy as you put it ...whats the difference, its fun factor is limetless . Since your sig clearly states you are quitting why do you care ...i find it very starwarsy and interesting , a break from the norm . Adding somhting like youre idea is fine but dont take things away .

But how long will elder jedi stick around, 6months from now u *prob* wont see many around with blue glowie cause most will be playing d&l.

- I've been on TC Corbantis and expect to ALWAYS see a Blue Glowie everywhere you go... it's VERY Un-Star-Warsy.
- To toggle it on and off doesn't fit into the Cannon. Obi Wan didn't Toggle it...
