Well they take away the ability of jedi to use Force attacks while holding melee or ranged weapon, but allow the nightsisters and other Force users the ability to be hybrid still. Just did a testing of it. The NS were holding swords and they were using lightning attacks ageinst me. Though if I hold a weapon other than a saber or no saber I could not. Feelingvery weak anymore. My main weapon I'd use to kill things was a laser rifle since it would normally do more damage than my saber even though I had no marksamn skills. ranged attack> saber hit and no worries about Force costs. So what now? I'd like to be a Powers User and be able to ranged attack. Alas its not to be Cherie. Even my ranged arm seems not to increase FOrce attack distance.

Any ideas how I should go and fight without having to become another FOTM template?

Well I do remember Han having a one piece suit made out of carbonite but it weighed a ton. Still it didnt require any ironing and was very wear resistant.
