Try to get your SAC as close to 100 as possible. Spend the rest on damage. I got my saber down to 109 SAC and my max damage is 708. I feel it was a decent compromise.

With 12 points I say either 8 into efficiency and 4 into damage or 7 into efficiency and 3 into damage and 2 into speed but do several different combinations to see which comes out best. Oh and I would like to be able to rent that 12 point suit one day if you do not mind.

well.

I tried all speed. all damage and all sac.

To me. Although many will tell you that sac is very important.

it's usually the last stat i touch. why? cause I rarely get to the point where my action is run out.

That being said.

first it's gonna depend on you lightsaber skill. Obv. A mls has more options avail for specials. Force speed also comes into play as well as tapes. If your a mls with good speed and some tapes, you may not need to focus on speed as much. Pearls/crystals also play a roll in speed as they have speed mods too. As a MLS, my speed with my ls is 1.51 or so. As I am at work, I am not too sure of the min/max, but my dps is about 470 or so. Not great from what I hear. But with better pearls, that will go up. So the best way to make your ls is to look at what you can achieve speed wise first. Then hopefully sink a few points into damage. Then look at sac. This is my opinion of course. I found that I make better ls's if i get a good mix tween speed and dam. Of course, my sac is one of the worst. But I rarely run out of action.

Make sure you have the new entertainer buff as well.

Get your SAC to 95 and the rest in damage.

Question

When you experiment in damage what are you guys getting eg. 1 exp point = damage increase?

I can get my SAC/fc to 99-100/ 48-49with 7 points, when experimenting on damage I get like +2 min/max damage...

doesnt seem worth it at all

You have to evaluate your peals / crystals

If you have 100 damage but only -.05Speed on them then you need to experiment on Speedmore than experimenting in the damage line.

Examine you assets, correct your weakness and then choose between the other 2.

If you want a generic answer do 8/4 or 9/3 in Efficiency / Damage

Ok.. heres what I do.

I personally don't think that experimentation on the saber makes one bit of difference, except SAC, and only a limited amount. So, get your SAC to 100, or below, and then put the rest in damage, as that is what is next most important. (BTW, I have fared pretty well with sabers as high as 114 SAC, and in a long fight, action can come into play. ESPECIALLY if you have to channel.)

The next step to getting an effective saber is to load it with your highest damage crystals, and forget literally every other stat. Force cost is a null point due to diminishing returns, and speed is broken. (Besides, Force Speed makes up for a lot.) Get near 700 max damage, and you will do just fine.. and really,I killed quite a few CM/BH's as a 155 skill point Jedi, with not even novice Defender. A good damage saber is ALL that matters.

And really, I will get flamed for this, but my saber is 24 fc, and I run out of force at the same time as Jedi who have 10 fc sabers, and my action goes just as far too. It's all about how you play.
