I was reading some post about how some people are tuning hundreds of crystals and pearls and not getting anywhere near 100 damage or -9 FC. I got to thinking,I remember when I was a low level jedi and every single tune I did was total crap, nothing even near 60 damage. I didn't have a tune that was better than average. My damages were "ALWAYS" about 40 - 50. I had 2 pearls tune to 61 and 65 damage with good FC and used those until I got a couple of 80's, but my best speeds were all between 0 and -.06, my FC was never higher than -5, except the 61 which had -9 FC. I had many damages in the 20's and 30's range. Before CU, I had about 15 or so tune with 0 damage and about 7 or 8 tune to -3 damage. So for a long time my tunes where crap.

Anyway, I started noticing a increase in the quality of tunes the higher level I got in jedi. It may just be coincidence but It sure was enough that I noticed it without even comparing them to my old tunes.

So I'm wondering how many jedi are high level when doing their tunes? How many skill points have you spent in jedi skills only (not FS skills)? Do you have better tunes now than you did when you were novice sabers oronlythe first box insabers?

Just curious to see if the level you are has anything to do with the quality of tuning or the chances of certain kinds of tunes.

hmm! I'm the exact opposite, all my tunes pre-cu were crap.....now all my tunes are a lot better.

I had all novice blocks. I had friends helping me get my pearls pre-cu. the three premiuns tuned 84, 108, 115 in damage and all -9 fc. The flawless tuned 117 damage and -9 fc.

Post-CU i haven't tuned anything better then my worst pre-CU pearl And I've tuned a lot of them just to check. I"m a double master now also.
